I tend to think it was the Macdonalds.
Still got one of the flags.
Remember going to Knowsley Road to watch our dreams fall again.
The match long Barmy Army chant as a Conga lines snaked around the ground.
Happy Days.

Re: Stuart Raper
it was a site to behold all those flags all round the ground a bet a number of the kids who waved them have become the supporters of today, my son used to take two little stools for two of my granddaughters to stand on

Same here....never understood why we changed his name on his return playing for Wakey. He’s a complete tool
Re: Stuart Raper
Huby was very young when he first played in the first team in the years we had him I don't think he ever let us down one particular game Craig forced a draw or gave us a win at Weldon Rd against high flying Bradford in the dying seconds, when he was let go I think he wanted an extended contract but at the time I believe he was suffering with a back problem hence his departure
Re: Stuart Raper
Wasnt it Huby that got in to a dispute with the club about testimonial monies.
Re: Stuart Raper
Wish we had someone like the Mc Donalds for todays games they knew how to market a game and get the kids interacting too - my 2 sons used to love match day it wasnt just watching the cheerleaders in those days.Nu Shooze wrote:Michael and Monique IIRCviva brad wrote:Wasn’t it a husband and wife team McDonald was their surname I thinktigerfeat wrote:Who ever did the marketing in them days did a great job still got my Stuart's christmas crackers video somewhere
