I'm gonna stick my neck out here and say we'll be 4 from 4 at the start with Hull away being the toughest game

I fancy playing FC more than I do KR. Cannot for the life of me see FC being a top 6 team this year.

However, our first 4 games have been kind to us, 8 points out of that lot and we can really get the ball rolling.

Some really hard fixtures back to back this season for us too. Saints, Leeds and Wigan all in consecutive weeks and then later in the year Wigan, Warrington, Leeds and Saints on the bounce. A good start it massive for us.

I think it is hard to predict, but those saying that the first four games are massive are indeed right.
We are missing Gale; we get off to a decent start, the pre-season nerves of how it all settles down are forgotten. A couple of losses, doesn't matter how close they are and it becomes more of a hassle, more questions about people missing, more negativity - both outcomes have their own momentum.

3 wins I would say is a minimum, but early-season you always get some strange results, London and HKR are going to be new and different. Catalan, you never know what will turn up, similar with Hull, they can beat anyone and lose to anyone.

Bored of the keyboard jostling now, want to see some meaningful rugby!

FC are old, slow and will struggle with the reduced subs.

Radford fired by Easter.

He has to be favourite for first coach to be sacked in 2019. Spotlight is firmly on him I reckon

The way our pre season has gone, that's us guaranteed to be put to the sword at the Boulevard then....!!!

4 very winnable games even without Gale. We would all probably have expected 3 wins over the last 2 seasons, Hull being the bogey team of the 4.

Hull will need to start wellnor could be looking for a new coach.

Catalan are away first up and they don’t travel as we don’t when we go there.

HKR are a mix of journeymen, experience and dont have much to prove. The pressure will be on us for all 4 I reckon.

Would happily take 6 points but if we want to challenge for trophies 8 is required and certainly achievable. Would be expecting 8 with a full squad.

I think taking any win for granted in the first 10 games or so of the season is a mistake to be honest.

First 10 matches are effectively the 'silly season' and basing predictions on teams form from the previous season can often be a mistake.

If we can win our home games and pick up an away win or 2 in the first 10 matches that is a good a start as any team can hope for I would think.

My forecasting is crap I just hope and pray we kick off the season to a good start, no more injuries before the season kicks off

As easy a start as we could possibly hope for but am expecting a seriously improved Catalan performance especially first up as they'll be motivated, will be hoping their new back line will take time to gel. London will have team spirit but am not thinking the quality to trouble up. Both Hull sides look lower half of the table for me so are eminently beatable, but given our propensity last season for chucking in the odd mare of a performance would expect to win three from four at least. These results will give a real indication of where we are in the general scheme of things.

hull reporting that kelly out for 6 weeks and connor went off injured this weekend. westerman out till march and talanoa has gone missing. that bodes well for our 2nd game as they have very little depth to their squad.
