Good of you mate I am sure a few more fans would put their hands up to try and improve things if asked, I went to Feath before Normanton played in the challenge cup there were six fans who had been doing some work, Wakefield also have a band of fans who do odd jobs, is the club missing something here ???yorky wrote:around 9 years ago i did several days voluntary work for Cas & i believe it was the gentleman who posts as "Casmania" who put out a request on this forum on behalf of the club for help around the ground & this was under the then ceo Richard Wright. I swept the entire terracing whilst at the same time i did a ground safety audit with points raised being actioned by Richard Wright. I also cleared a large amount of rubbish from around the ground as i went along, what i saw whilst doing this work left me in no doubt that the ground has had its day & that was 9 years ago.
i was happy to do this as i felt strongly about the then state of the ground & i wanted to help the club, but as far as i know, nothing regarding voluntary work has been done or requested since.

Speaking as a lady the toilets near the weldon road end infront of the restaurant were all boarded out with white boards and all had toilet seats which towards the end of the season were missing on some of the toilets. So it is the fans ( not necessarily cas fans) who are vandalising them. The club made an effort to makethem better.

To be fair how many times would a regular supporter see the name Wheldon Road? When you have fans that have been going for a long time there is really no excuse.

It's no one's fault if they are illiterate. They're most likely dyslexic, so leave them alone .

Well its been a few years since i posted on here but its nice to see that certain fans still want to slag off the owners. If Ian Fulton wants to keep the interest from the loan, thats his business and the last thing we want is to alienate a family that saved the club.
