Personally thought Millo looked on his last legs last season, although that could have been down to the mountain of work he got through in the early part of the season before Watts came in to share some of the work load.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, Millo did massive minutes and got through so much graft before Watts came on board that he was looking tired in the second half of the season. He'll be back fresh next season I reckon.

Probably doesn't help that he plays injured weekly and through the pain barrier. As over seas signings go, he could very well be one of our best. Not many Aussies come over to England, who are prepared to put their body on the line like he has done so many times for us.

with the squad we have if injury's are kind to us, there is no reason that we should not be challenging for a top four spot come the seasons end

No good having a deep squad if those waiting in the wings are not up to scratch.

Thats one off most correct things you have ever posted and is true no quality in any body outside off top 19 squad players

last year we did not fare too bad with a number of our star players sat in the stands for a big chunk of the season, during the season we added two quality players and Jake Trueman took his chance, I think we will be stronger this season with any kind of luck on the injury front, yes it would be great to have a millionaire backer who wanted to through money at the team so we could have a squad of supper stars, but for a club that as not a bucket full of cash we do very well, would I wont to support any other club not bloody likely , COME ON YE FORD

I beg to differ. In the game a that mattered Saints in cup, Wigan in semis, we came up woefully short. Fingers crossed for more luck and better performances next season.

But so did Saints in their 2 games that mattered. They even went the full season pretty much full strength week in week out.

Hull and Leeds were decimated by injuries, and came up badly short. When Cas and Saints won LLS they were lucky with injuries. I'm afraid that any club with more than normal injuries will struggle. People moan about Ellis for example, but he is excellent back-up when needed and the depth of squad is what got us to third imo.

We already have a millionaire backer it’s just unfortunate he is more interested in making money out of the club than trying to get quality players signing for us we have gone from top team in 2017 to third place last year and it looks like we will be even lower this season, a downward spiral that is so familiar at the club,I think everyone who supports the club know where our shortfalls are and it looks like they have no intention of strengthening the vital positions that needs it.

Thing is tho we've still got a very strong squad who never had any trouble staying in the top four last year playing without a recognised full back and are two starting halves for a lot of season
We're two good players short of where id like us to be ..top four ,chance in challange cup not win grand final unless we make them two good signings is where id put us
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have
