Loop Fixtures Odds v Evens based on Top 8 at split and final 4 in Middle 8's after split (London being 12)

3 H games vs 4, 8 and 12
3 A games vs 2, 6 and 10

Only 1 Away game on a Sunday - "family friendly" sport my backside. Pain in the backside for families in our travelling support

Only 5 Sunday Home games out of 14. May as well change our home games to Friday night at this rate.

Factoring in Magic, a brutal period which if speculation is correct, is likely to see us having Wigan, Warrington, Leeds and then Saints (Magic).

We seem to have been given a raw deal in terms of blocks of back-to-back games against big teams:
March/April - Saints, Leeds, Wigan
April/May - Wigan, Wire, Leeds, Saints (Magic)
September - Saints, Hull, Wigan

Positives: At least we don't have to negotiate the M62 car park THAT many times on a Thursday night with only Warrington and Hull away the furthest away games. Mostly local games. That being said, Salford, Saints and Wigan on Friday nights is a joke.

Also, our Sunday Home games include Warrington, Leeds and Hull which should give us some bumper crowds

IMO - it's a complete pigs ear of a fixture list. Wonder if the club vetoed it?
Sky currently has free slots the weekends of the Warrington and Leeds games and the televised games for Rd 28 are TBC so we could potentially see all 3 being shifted

Do Club's get the opportunity to comment on fixtures at a 'proposed' stage? I ask this as I was under the impression the Clubs got the fixture list today which is then publicised to the masses next week?
Cas would of got the fix at least 1 to 2 weeks ago to agree with them

once again we all have to bend over for wigan because they can't play at dw in the soccer season. of their last 10 fixtures they have 8 at home ans one of the aways is just down the road at saints. only one of them scheduled for sky as well so they won't suffer attendance losses. absolutely stinks how they help them out every year.

Think you may have missed a game out as they have 3 away games (Saints, Wakey and Hull).

Only really a change of two games from earlier in the season. And it also works out against them in the fact they have 7 away games and 3 home games in preceding 10 from April to end of June.

I'm a believer in a conventional H/A system anyway but don't think it's drastically bad. Leeds have 4 away games to kick off the season too.

Leeds first 4 games could see them 1 from 4 and always then playing catch up.

Leeds chose to play away because their ground isn't ready. Wigan do it because of football.

Hopefully we'll need it for our new ground.
