For me the best player to ever wear the Castleford shirt. Way beyond his years and hard as they came.

the bit about the first training session mal took at the newcastle knights reminded me of when danny buderus was at leeds and him telling the story of that first training session and mal calling all the players one by one into his office he said we had some very hard men in the squad at the knights at that time but all of them were scared stiff of mal

I agree with his thoughts on the 10m rule. For me the ptb is slow and ugly and doesn't do the game any favours.

Not to nit pick, but putting young men to shame is not something Mal does. Or even tries to.
