Like the way that he took the time to applaud all the Cas fans at the end. Genuinely nice bloke

He’s the type of player that we are missing. Thought he was excellent yesterday

Even Saints fans don’t want Barba to win it. He’s been abject for weeks.

He's a grub on the field though.

There lies our propblem, our lads are to soft and nice.
The problem is though, if cas get to nasty, for some reason the ref penalises us.
The Wigan’s of this world tend to get away with it......strange.

I'd have him at Cas tomorrow. Brings that monger Al and gets under the oppositions' skin....plus he can play a bit

shame we didn't have the ref from thursday's match.
he spent the first 15 mins penalising offsides and p.t.b. infringements, but the players then realised and a much better game ensued.
thaler waited 72 mins to penalise wigan for offside.

Wigan didn't come to play adventurous rugby, they came to tackle like demons, play error-free and penalty-free, playing the percentages. Leeds did that last year in the GF.
We need a similar approach, and the errors and high tackles are not DP's fault. You could see his frustration at the player's mistakes. Watch the game back, and all Wigan's points came on the back of errors. We defended well enough.
I remember last year we complained we had no plan B, does the same apply?

Exactly that as I put on the Darryl Powell thread some players have let him down big time when it's mattered most in the time he's being at the club

I will continue to f=dream that one day, champagne rugby will win the game and as such, there'll be no need for the likes of Bateman who, IMO, has little skill but plenty of aggression.
