Re: Squad for Wakey
Imagine thinking about dropping James Clare when he has been head and shoulders above Eden all season. Why does Eden just kick ball when he is scared about getting tackled, useless under high ball. He is alright 10 meters out with an open space.

I watched the fax game and Maher was less than good never goes in a tackle first he just looks like he dont know what he is doing he is a nice lad but that dont make hin a good player why we still have hin beats meBigBez10 wrote:Shhh don't say that, a lot on here think we should have a squad of world beatersLeeds tiger wrote:I thought Maher played quite well for Halifax v Widnes in there last game, agree though he should only be used when we have pretty bad injuries

It's all bluff and bluster from Chester. When you look at their squad depth it's only the same as ours. Wakey have a reserve team as well as an Academy to fall back on as well. They have (and Jinger will correct me if I'm wrong) several players who have first team squad numbers but have hardly played this year like Hooley, Baldwinson, Kershaw, Wray and Ackroyd.lurcher wrote:chester claiming in an interview that he's only got 17 fit players. looks a strong squad though so apart from fifita and johnstone the other injured must be fringe players.

Injuries are partly down to luck. Seen a lot of acl injuries recently and they are innocuous. Oggys looked worse and it's a 2 Weeker.
Fitness plays some part as does muscle mass. But mainly its down to luck.

Yeah I'd go with that. I think the reason CC has made a thing about numbers is that the players missing are all regular first teamers, Fifita, England, Johnstone and Hurst all make a difference to Trinity. Maybe just maybe we shouldn't have let Mason Caton Brown leave, he'd have slotted straight in for JohnstoneTigerade wrote:It's all bluff and bluster from Chester. Head and shoulders above a player whose been injured for most of the season. Hardly challenging is it?SioneFaumuina wrote:Imagine thinking about dropping James Clare when he has been head and shoulders above Eden all season. And still scored less than a player who's missed half the season.Fumper27 wrote:Head and shoulders above a play whose been injured for most of the season. Re: Squad for Wakey
There's is clearly a game of 'turn every thread in a Clare v Eden' debate going on here.
This is the third one I've now read so I suggest the culprit is brought in line or banned...

What a bench!!!! What a starting pack. Can only see one result

Agree. With players like Cook, Wardle, Foster, Holmes missing who’d be in most 17s were in a good positionMysterio wrote:Best 17 of the year
