In Kick n Clap the on-field ref sends up the decision with the question, "is there any reason why the try cannot be awarded" but this remains subjective in relation to the try on the leg.

Perhaps RL should introduce the simple question, can the try be awarded?

How can Saints sell semi final tickets already?

They don't even know who they're going to play yet.

Why can't they? They know when the semi final will be as they get to choose the Thursday or Friday.

No its not a definite yet. For a start we could still come 4th if we lose our next 2 and it all depends what day Saints want to play on.

Didn’t we choose to play Thursday for the additional 24 hours rest?

Yes, that's correct.

Saints have chosen to play on Thursday this year - presumably for the same reason. They're already selling tickets for it.

Pressure is on Wigan with these last 2 games to keep winning and consolidate that 2nd spot. The last thing Wigan want, is to slip up and come to our place under the lights. They've not got a great record down lane these past few years.

I feel the pressure is totally off us this year, Saints are exactly in the same predicament we were in last year, we're they've been the best team and now have to back it up by winning the GF and Wigan are probably feeling the pressure to sign Tomkins and Wane off with a GF win, before they leave.

think saints will rest a few next week against us but it won't make any difference if wigan are allowed to get away with what they did in the ruck tonight in the semi.

I saw the first quarter and hudds got penalised and the pies didn't fit the same offence.

They squeeked over the line, isa is done for the season. Nothing to fear.

My main fear is the officials will decide the game.
We will have to be squeaky clean especially around the ruck, Wigan always wriggle and fight on the floor. On the other hand the amount of times Wigan layed on or slowed hudds down last night and got away with it.
