Re: squad for thursday
Got a feeling Webster will miss out again - feel Powell is looking to the future with his team selections now and Webbo will only be called upon if we need him. Question is whether Minikin slots in at centre so as to trial what we're going to see next season ahead of the important games or whether we keep Wardle at centre, JSL to starting prop and Millo into the back row

Re: squad for thursday
I think that Watts' great form is partially down to Millingtons return to Prop. Grant has gone unsung these last weeks and hes been running the ball in very hard rather than reverting back to a 17 stone Stand off or on the edge in the Second Row. Unlike Powell, I also believe the JSL is far more destructive wider out in the second row, so for me Millington Prop and JSL second Row, Happy Days.
Re: squad for thursday
Don't care about next season right now, centre don't take much work can easy do that in pre season. Wardle should not be centre in 2019. Minikin dury out.HuddsTigers wrote:Got a feeling Webster will miss out again - feel Powell is looking to the future with his team selections now and Webbo will only be called upon if we need him. Clare hasn't put a foot wrong and you want to replace him with a lad who has missed half the season and was bang average before his injury?fords wrote:Don't care about next season right now, centre don't take much work can easy do that in pre season. But while we have nothing to lose, it may be worth seeing if we do need to recruit someone for the centre position now before we hit pre-season again.classysupercas3 wrote:We should be trialing players now for the semi final not next yearHuddsTigers wrote:Got a feeling Webster will miss out again - feel Powell is looking to the future with his team selections now and Webbo will only be called upon if we need him. Re: squad for thursday
Strongest squad of season. No excuses than a win by 16.we gota start getting our attack in tip top condition. Keeping team under 10 points and let every cas player put there heart and soul into these next 2 games, st Helens game players will be rested I think.
Re: squad for thursday
we might be saving big Jake for the Wakefield home game so the fans can say good bye and thanks for the great work this lad as done

Cudjoe, McGilvary & Mellor all absent for Fartown tomorrow evening
Re: squad for thursday
Just seen this. Very good news on Cudjoe and McG not playing. Hopefully overturn the loss and put in a good win.SuffolkTiger wrote:Cudjoe, McGilvary & Mellor all absent for Fartown tomorrow evening
Re: squad for thursday
We shouldn't be worrying about who are opponents have missing they should be looking at our squad and the ones doing all the worrying
Last time we played them we looked like we would get a cricket score first ten minutes then we went into that second gear people talk about or they showed some fight either way we ended up falling in a hole
