Re: Catalans up next
Catalans have named a strong team. To say they're season is over, they're not messing about.
Re: Catalans up next
Hopefully been celebrating all week and knackered from the flights over the past week. Having said that think we have a strong enough squad to do a job on them anyway.heritage1926 wrote:Catalans have named a strong team. To say they're season is over, they're not messing about.

Re: Catalans up next
Potentially six changes from their CC 17 though.
Margalet, Belmas, Albert, Duport, Da Costa and Bird.
Reckon Bird and Duport will definitely be in. Wouldn't be surprised if the other kids play too. Nothing to lose.

Let us know when and if it becomes available. I'm going to throw as much as I can on it.Hepworth7 wrote:Boyle sports indeed offering 4/5 for Saints to win regular season and 5/4 to win Grand Final. If you can get on at 4/5 looks a help yourself job as Saints 2/7 with us and I thought that was generous.

It wouldn't surprise me if the team changes a little more using the "fifita" rule. Any player needing surgery should get it now. I'd hope that's what we'd do. Play weakened teams away and what's available at home.

Every team has it off to a tee. It's getting like the nfl, might as well have time out. Cas took two minutes for a drop out, with one player sitting on the deck 5 metres out having his boot lace attended to.tigerfeat wrote:Catalans have got it off to a art form every time there was a repeat set coming one of there players was on floor waiting for trainer to come on
Supposed to kick off at 7.30, Cats still warming up at 7.29. Match finished at 9.20, and couldn't blame Sky!

It’s getting beyond a joke, drop outs, scrums, it’s taking minutes instead of seconds.cogito ergo sum wrote:Every team has it off to a tee. It's getting like the nfl, might as well have time out. Fans getting frustrated with it all.
Where’s the pass the ball to a team mate to play it if your injured, fair enough a head injury or a bad knee/leg injury, but some of the stopping the clock every 2 mins is getting ridiculous. It really needs sorting.
Re: Catalans up next
They should insist players leave the field, apart from serious injuries, and the defending team has 12 for the set.old cas lass wrote:It’s getting beyond a joke, drop outs, scrums, it’s taking minutes instead of seconds.cogito ergo sum wrote:Every team has it off to a tee. The other thing that’s in every game now, and totally does my box in, is the ball-player stepping over the tackler, forcing them to foul the ruck and getting penalised for not rolling away. Should be a penalty every time for stepping off the mark; that would stop it.

Re: Catalans up next
cats used another trick a couple of times last night to win penalties. tackled player stands up bends as if to play ball but then stands up cas players move of mark and cats player then plays ball. cas get penalised for not square when cats should be pinged for dummying at the play the ball.
