If we start well and drag Warrington into a war of attrition will they start wrapping players in cotton wool with an eye on next week

Just a thought

Certainly looks like they will be going for it tonight.

I thought we were outstanding defensively on the whole.

Paul McShane gets better and better and is the best 9 I’ve seen at Cas with his all round game just edging Daryl Clark because of tackling and kicking.

Liam Watts was immense tonight also and it makes such a difference having Millo back and Clark and Webster deserve a mention but to a man I thought we defended superbly

A load better than last week. Really good full team performance. Couple of blips but better. Would like another game next week without the break but never mind.

McShane - again wow. An amazing fully complete player. Two beautiful kicks resulting in two trys.
Watts - shone particularly well too, less offloads equalled an improved game tonight. Some called him a passenger for us this season last week.
Shenton - impressed me, passed very well and hit some hard tackles. People snap calling that he's done. Absolutely not.
Trueman and Clare also stood out. With Clark becoming a find and a half.

Mata'utia - what was he doing when they were kicking on the last... oh catching...nice to see from a full back  ... Seemed comfortable and as bags and bags more to give.

Wire went all out for a win last night fielding their best team available they ran strong and hard in the forwards I thought at the start off the second half we were going to wobble but credit to the lads we held firm, with the amount of first team players not available it was a great win roll on the next game

Had to get the two points and got them...pleasing as Huddersfield got a result and don't appear to be slowing momentum.

Two weeks training to iron out the attacking blips, Gale comeback on the horizon as well...things looking up again :)

Massive 2 points in context. Gives us a handle on 2nd place still and keeps Hudds at arm's length. They will have to win 3 more games than us out of last 5 fixtures now, maybe 4 bearing in mind their points diff.
Still we have patches in a games where I doubt our credentials but defensively overall we look more solid.
It's clear how much we have missed Eden and Gale this year as well as a proper full back. The fact we are in a position to secure a top 4 spot and be a gsme away from another GF is testamemt to what Powell has done to the club.

Eventually got home on Saturday evening and watched the game back this morning. Millo & Mega were both fantastic but our hooker was world class.

PM is the heart beat of our first team squad and is incredibly consistent. International honours should be a formality.... ;)
