I feel Eden seems to have lost is confidence since his shoulder injury last season, he as not delivered any of his spectacular finishes since and he had a couple of golden chances yesterday.

He just missed out on two and to be fair Shenny didn’t give him much service

I’ve not watched it back because who would. But at the ground, I thought his 2nd one was a try and he was undone by the onfield call again. Sent up as a try that’s given IMO.

The first was also unlucky too - even the best wingers don’t have Super human reflexes.

I have watched it back and he did just lose the ball before grounding so it was no try.

Fair enough. I still haven’t watched it so my impression is like Hudds. I’m even less likely to now!

Before the season started I remember webster being interviewed and a question they asked was about the youth coming through and who did he see as the ones to watch. He picked out Gill and said he was his natural successor but hoped it wasn't too soon. He's filling out but it seems that cas see him as a centre but he's getting game time as a winger. Egodo also played all pre season games at centre. Give one of them a go. You only find out by giving them a try...

i always say if its working dont change it, at this moment in time it is broken and needs some freshening up , one or two changes are needed, our stand off looks very pedestrian and both of our centres had stinkers

Cudjoe scored his try even though his body was going over the dead ball line.all came down to desire to score

To be fair, I think some of the criticism of Eden is unjudst, out of all the players on the pitch Friday he was nowhere near the worst.

My team for Widnes

1 - Turner
2 - Clare
3 - Egodo / Gill
4 - Shenton
5 - Eden
6 - QLT
7 - Trueman
8 - Massey
9 - McShane
10 - Watts
11 - Holmes
12 - Moors
13 - Milner

14 - Springer
15 - Maher
16 - Massey
17 - O'Neill / Butterworth

Thats taking into account that JSL, Millo and Cook all picked up knocks last week, if they are all fit to play, they come onto the bench. We have 2 weeks off after this week will be a good time for the guys to have a few days off to freshen up and re-focus moving onto the 8's. Hopefully over hte next 3-4 weeks we will see Benny, McMeeken and Gale back which will make a massive difference.

Similar to mine mate. Although i put in Clark instead of Massey twice. :D :D
Might see McMeeken back come Sunday too.
Can't wait to see Gale back playing.

To be fair, i thought Moors was one of the better performers on Friday.

^^ Moors showed glimpses again on Friday of what he can do when he does what he’s good at - he’s a real handful and virtually unplayable at times. However, he needs to stop thinking he has a number 6 on his back throwing speculator passes and do what he’s good at.
