Get in! Fantastic news, brilliant work by the club to get this one sorted. Also agree with OCL, great timing to announce it. I’m one happy man now today

Re: Milner signs 3 year deal
well done to all concerned    I wonder what made adz pledge his immediate future to cas as I'm sure we couldn't match nrl wages. maybe he was made privy to the ambition for the next few years and maybe he's been made aware of the quality of the players we are looking to sign in the future.

Future captain.
Also, the Aussies aren’t going to chuck loads at him when they have a bigger cap and UK salaries are small. Remember average salaries here are around £70-80k. Probably tried snaring him on a two year deal at 120k or something and we went in with a 3 year deal on the same. More security.

Good news. We are doing a great job of keeping our talent.
Just out of interest who was the last quality player we lost to another Club because we couldn't / wouldn't match their demands? Solomona / Carney / Chase / Hardaker all excluded as they were all for different reasons.

Probably Chase when he went to Salford.
Clark we accepted an offer and Huby wanted more years.

Re: Milner signs 3 year deal
Great news.
Retaining personnel is a sign of a happy outfit.
Happy to strive for success.
Always a big fan of the lad and out and out trier.
He has seemed both settled ,yet developing all the time.
Never fails to give 100%
Never takes a backward step.
Gives a few penalties away but gets us plenty by getting under the opposition skin.
The futures bright. The futures Black and Amber.
Comments Robbo.?

I'm mixed with this happy to have him but would love to have seen him go to aus and really hit another level as a player.

Re: Milner signs 3 year deal
The move to loose has made him. He stagnated at Hooke under Powell at the start. 13 was made for him - England next.
Re: Milner signs 3 year deal
Need to find alot to get near England atm for me he's miles away from the form he hit last year his fitness seems no where near to how he was leading our line.Andrew6666 wrote:The move to loose has made him. He stagnated at Hooke under Powell at the start. 13 was made for him - England next.

Dont think 1 player is playing at the level of last yearbetts21 wrote:Need to find alot to get near England atm for me he's miles away from the form he hit last year his fitness seems no where near to how he was leading our line.Andrew6666 wrote:The move to loose has made him. Re: Milner signs 3 year deal
Would agree bar mecca but the thread was about milner and a comment for England next think ads looks short on the fitness and drive he had last year for me. Last year up to the back of the season he was up there for man of steel. Maybe all efforts last year are having an effect this year with all the hard long minutes he played doesn't look as fresh and fast.fords wrote:Dont think 1 player is playing at the level of last yearbetts21 wrote:Need to find alot to get near England atm for me he's miles away from the form he hit last year his fitness seems no where near to how he was leading our line.Andrew6666 wrote:The move to loose has made him.
