Whilst I don't disagree with your line-up, I don't think the pack will line-up like that.

Over the last few weeks we have predominantly started with Millo and Moors in the 2nd row and JSL at prop. Can't see any reason why this would suddenly change.

Possibly. We have a pack that can move around and swap and change. I just prefer Moors off the bench fresh.

However, I think for me is that we've got to go with a consistent impact across the game. With Milner, JSL, Watts and Millo we start with a decent intensity. I've dropped Moors to the bench so that with Clark and Cook, we ensure we've still got some strike and impact across the entire half.

Our pack is what's going to win this game for us, if we do, IMO and I think if we put all our big guns on at first, it may give them a toehold later in the half if you have Massey, Holmes, Cook and Clark. I'd prefer to blow them off the park.

Matty English hoping to be included in the 17 as well as me, love to see him play against us and have a good game (not too good) Why ? I have watched his progress from when he was a junior at Stanley Rangers, going on to captain England at all levels from u/15's to u/19's. Still only 20 and playing prop in super league shows he has a big future in the game.
Told him we will be too fast for them, but he said both teams need the points for different reasons, and they will give their all. Sorry to say Matty you will have to beat Wakefield next week to miss middle 8's.

Cant be right yet that's why Lewis Peachey is in. We like to have 6 back rowers play each week

I was thinking that myself OCL

Maybe getting him 100% right for the super 8s opposed to rushing him back and having a reoccurrence

We should have enough there to get the 2 points on Friday. If McMeeken isn't quite 100% I'd agree that we make sure he's right and give him an extra week. Going into the 8's as near to full strength as we can has to be a priority. On the subject of Junior, I prefer his impact off the bench also.

I'm not sure nowadays with the uncontested scrums what difference it makes to the starting line up we name. it just depends on what powells game plan is over the 80 minutes.
on the mcmeeks subject if shudds heard powell say last week he would be fit to play this week and then he doesn't select him then they'd be very worried about the 10 forwards that are in front of him in selection.

Powell said that Mike had trained once on Tuesday and they would see if he had come through ok ahead of captains run. I suspect he isn’t quite right so they made the call to give him more time.

Pretty much bang on with JSL at prop as corrected after this by another poster and Millo in back row.
