Paul McShane

Post by old cas lass » 13 Jul 2018, 22:14

Kicked 4/4 tonight.
The last one right on the touch line.
I think he should be the kicker instead of Ellis.
Ellis tends to miss easyish kicks, macca should be our main kicker.

Was my MOM

agree he's the best kicker but how much more do we put on him? he runs himself into the ground week after week but having said that he seems to thrive on it.

Ellis kicked very well last week, was 7/7 after missing the first

Who are the other two?

I'm assuming Roby is one.

I see Macca as best hooker In super league.as more strings to his bow than roby.although I appreciate what roby does for saints for many years does he carry a team in a injury crisis?does he kick an important 40/20 at a vital time of the game?can he knock a goal over from the touch line?does he have a short kicking game?does he have a long kicking game?i think Macca is better in all these aspects.nrl wise I like hodgson and as to be respected for his efforts but again feel Macca is better.i place him behind Cameron smith and yes I watch nrl aswel

He's definitely within the top 10.
never rated parcell, thought leeds went much better without him against wakey..
same goes for hodgson, can't pass further than 5 metres.

the trouble with parcell and hodgson is that neither seem capable of giving a long accurate pass straight from the floor. both seem to straighten up to a standing position and usually take a couple of side ways steps before giving a short pass.
maybe that's what the coach wants but for me it gives the opposition defence a vital second to get up to the attacking line.
incidentally, watch gales semi final drop goal winner. macca went on a scoot on the 4th and was tackled leaving junior at dummy half and he throws a huge pass to luke straight from the floor if I remember correctly.
