Does anyone know how ticket sales have been clocking up for the game?

Im aware the seating is totally sold out and has been since the start of the week

I was thinking that myself. I would imagine a significant amount actually...?
10k for mine.

Lad in the Cas Shop said Rhinos usually fetch about 2000 with them but they had only sold over 500 tickets up to this morning and that was before the Sinfield announcement so who knows how many turn up !

I wonder who Brian McDermott would ‘rather be coaching’?

Or coach driving... (All due respect to coach drivers by the way - especially those who have taken me on rugby trips over the years...)

I'll miss Mac's post - match interviews, they were a highlight of the week for me.

I’ll go with that.
Although he regularly tried to outdo himself he was an interesting and sometimes very informative contributor
I wonder who’ll take the plunge and employ him next....
My money is on Widnes??

They do make me giggle, those of the pointy noses.

All week I’ve been reading what a massive job it is (which it is to be fair) and how they need someone with a proven track record. It’s too big a job for DP was one quote I saw. Now they’re all Zebedeeing, round with major semis on, having appointed a bloke with not a single professional coaching game under his belt. If you read GH’s quotes Sinfield will be doing everything bar making the tea; perhaps that’s what they need Lowes for.

Up until a few years back l used to bring a twenty five seater coach from Otley to this fixture ,however no one wants to come any more.
They don't like it up em Mr Mannering!
Well Robbo and Sun gutter snipes our boy is staying .
He's HAPPY at Cas.
He's building something special.
Like most building projects there will be glitches.
I know we have been disappointed a few times not just on the big stage ,but also like the performances against Saints and Les Cats.
Pre Mr Powell disappointment was an aspiration at times ,think of the million pound game .
The regular towelings we were on the end of, let's keep things in perspective.
We have enjoyed and l do mean enjoyed some of the most exciting and entertaining rugby seen in this country.
We have aspirations and expectations, but lets keep our feet on the ground.
This Cas after all, just a small town in Wakefield.
So lets welcome our big city neighbours ,cannot call them rivals any more.
Looking forward to this birthday, retirement and beating the the Rhinos and its sunny.
Does life get any better than this!!!?
On,by the way Sweet Caroline.

Excellent post. I think some of us have become a bit blasé about winning in the last couple of seasons. A few years ago we ecstatic just to win a game, now we're disappointed if we win by less than 20. Just goes to show how far we've come. Appreciate the good times, we've suffered through plenty of bad to get here.
