At one time I thought the lads in Carlton lanes used to do the DVDS ??
Re: CAS V WIGAN DVD
i also thought they were burnt onto sale discs there from the master disc, but i was told the sound / commentary had to be edited onto the master disc by the barman?gateman wrote:At one time I thought the lads in Carlton lanes used to do the DVDS ??

Re: CAS V WIGAN DVD
But then they probably see more value in Tigers TV subscription seeing as that is guaranteed monthly income whereas a DVD is something someone can buy on and off. And given the Tigers TV platform is something people have been wanting for ages and ages about, you can see why. Less cost to the club having to print and create DVDs. To be fair, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were phased out altogether.gateman wrote:the club must be awash with money what would a blank disc cost 50p retail at 9-99
I’d like to see the same for match programmes to be fair. Much easier to upload them as digital copies where people can buy them or download them in their own time. I know some people prefer a physical copy but in this day and age, they just take up space gathering dust. I’ve got loads here from when I was younger but I rarely get them out to read. I’d quite happily give most of them away to be fair.

You can watch on phone and tablet too. You can also buy HDMI cables which you can plug a laptop into your TVyorky wrote:but i assume you can only watch TTV on your computer so thats not the best way to watch a game?
And you can also get things like Google Chromecasts, which you can stream from mobile/phone to your TV.
There’s probably other ways too. Not sure on from a desktop PC but as these are becoming less in favour compared to mobile devices, you may struggle.
