Catalans
Catalans
Fantastic result last night. Catalans aren't the team they were at the start of the season and have hit some good form as of late. At theirs it can also be a tricky ground for the travelling team. That been said (not to jinx it) I'm feeling a win coming for us.
News that Milner, Roberts, Wardle, Eden and Holmes could be in with a chance of playing too. Can't imagine Jy playing though but at least we seem to be getting more back than were losing unlike the other week.

Re: Catalans

Hope they have water breaks like in yesterdays game.classysupercas3 wrote:Gona be difficult in 80 plus degrees.i would probably rest a few for this one, then win remaining games until split.
It didn’t affect our boys to much, was 80 in Denver. Yes England had a weeks prep and a bit of climatisation.
I’d also rest some player who have played most of he season.

Re: Catalans
i contacted the queen vic today in Lloret and they said that Thursday and Friday football will be on the big screen not rugby, no surprise there then.a thousand cas fans and we have to watch that. sorry but i have no time for football.
Re: Catalans
I'm sure the topside of the 700 fans staying in Llorett may be able to persuade them to have the rugby on.greenhouse wrote:i contacted the queen vic today in Lloret and they said that Thursday and Friday football will be on the big screen not rugby, no surprise there then.a thousand cas fans and we have to watch that. sorry but i have no time for football.
No fan of football myself.

Re: Catalans
With the England game against Belgium being on Thursday, I’d suggest that would be doubtful.
Friday may be different though!

Re: Catalans
it always amazes me when abroad in most places you have to beg bar owners to let you watch our beloved game there will be a row of bars next to each other all showing YAWN football with hardly any one in, at least when you are in Benidorm you can watch it in any of TADS places

Re: Catalans
I know football always comes first under normal circumstances but on occasions like this there will be more rugby fans than football fans. If i were a bar owner i know who i would rather have supping in my pub.and your right no problem if we were in tads.

Most bars have 2 screens, if they want your money they can put one on each, however there's 2 football matches on at the same time.Thursday.

Re: Catalans
the problem is in Lloret there is only the queen viv that can accommodate hundred that then creates a brilliant atmosphere. not the same all trying to squeeze in a corner to watch our beloved game. can't stand watching overpaid prema donners diving all over the place.
Re: Catalans
I love rugby league, and I love the world cup. I for one am looking forward to watching England play with a chance to top their group rather than watch an injury ravaged Leeds play an underperforming Wigan team in the Queen Vic.

Re: Catalans
In the past people have complained how many times Leeds & Wigan are on Sky every season. Would it hurt to miss one of those games?
