Maher unfortunately it pains me to say it,the lads not even Championship standard.
Sorry Big Will.
Richard Marshal has done a fantastic job at Halifax. On a tiny budget, compared to Toronto, Leigh, London Fev etc he has got them into the top four. So why does he keep playing (indeed starting with) someone who is not even Championship standard?

Interesting that you can conclude that after one televised game, against the dominant team in their division.

I'm not saying you're wrong mind, just highlighting that you're not exactly basing your opinion on much evidence.

That he is not Super League standard is a very fair claim, but Halifax seem to think he is championship standard...

I would describe Maher as a steady championship prop at best.

Not based on one game .
Seen the lad enough at Cas .
However watching him at The Shay gaspng for breath in the dug out just in front of me and speaking with fax fans at half time they were not in raptures about him .
So much as l would like to see the lad succeed,he is not the answer in the short term or in my opinion the long term.

Jesse is only going to be missing a few weeks, he’s tweeted tonight. Good news. Catalans may be a nearly fit squad.
In the spirit of the final Blackadder episode - Goooodbyeee!

We played oggy in the grand final instead of Foster, which I thought was wrong, fozzie deserved the start imo. Barring injury. We should go with match fit players.

Absolutely, all sentiment should go out the window.
Didn’t we play huby in the cup final 2014 after he dislocated his elbow 2 weeks prior.
That didn’t turn out to well did it.
Any player IF we get to the GF that’s got any niggle should not play.

Foster played in the grand final. He scored? Unless you mean start.

Yes start. Oggy was under cooked and fuzzy one of our best when he came on.

Chubbs probably shouldn't have played however we didn't have the greatest of squads. We do now and with plenty of cover.
