Go with a massive bench and bring them all on around the 20-25 minute mark.

But you’d have Clare and Gill together on one edge??? Opinions are like ar5eholes, we all have one and that was mineMØL wrote:Green and Maher both as starting props...not for me thanks. :hand:Fumper27 wrote:QLT

Re: 19 for wigan
For me think Clare and Gill would be decent. Gill is a big lad with pace. Just worried with what happened to Webster last time we played them.Fumper27 wrote:But you’d have Clare and Gill together on one edge??? Re: 19 for wigan
Moors and Millington will be doing big minutes tomorrow no doubt about that.
Re: 19 for wigan
They all need to, that bench needs to stay on bench as long as possible imo

Maher
We'd get impact from Moors like we did against KR, he'd come on for Cook. Springer would do a stint to give Millington a small rest too.

Re: 19 for wigan
See absolutely no point in having backs on the bench. Waste of a spot and we need every fit forward we can get.
Millo, Massey, Moors will have to lead from the front but they'll still need spelling. Having Cook, Maher, Green, Springer at least offers that and some freshness even just for 10 mins

Agree Hudds. Only back in mine is Webster and would use him to spell the likes of Massey in the pack.HuddsTigers wrote:See absolutely no point in having backs on the bench. Waste of a spot and we need every fit forward we can get.

Re: 19 for wigan
Then again no point in having Maher on the bench when he never comes on, may as well have a back there to cover for injuries or to move Webster in to the pack if need be.MØL wrote:Agree Hudds. Re: 19 for wigan
I agree entirely, unless its a player who adds a different dimension to our attack, similar to how Wigan used Esacre at the beginning of the season.HuddsTigers wrote:See absolutely no point in having backs on the bench. Waste of a spot and we need every fit forward we can get.

I do understand why people have Webster on the bench who may be able to do a job in the 2nd row but I would prefer him at centre.
Re: 19 for wigan
I would play him. If only for a 10 minute stint. Can easily change Maher for Green on my bench who would also spell a forward. Having Clare or Egodo on the bench just in case of an injury seems pointless to me.Sharlotiger wrote:Then again no point in having Maher on the bench when he never comes on, may as well have a back there to cover for injuries or to move Webster in to the pack if need be.MØL wrote:Agree Hudds. Re: 19 for wigan
Exactly. And the only have Escare so they can move Tomkins to 6 and Powell to 9 to spell Leuluai.BigBez10 wrote:I agree entirely, unless its a player who adds a different dimension to our attack, similar to how Wigan used Esacre at the beginning of the season.HuddsTigers wrote:See absolutely no point in having backs on the bench. Always go out with your most experienced side. I wouldn't have an inexperienced three quarter line as Wigan will just attack that side and then you're stuck with a sub you can't bring on if you have to change things to try and stop it.

Re: 19 for wigan
Apparently the reason Maher didn't come on against Wire was so he could play dual reg on the Sunday. I suppose the thinking was that he was there if necessary.
Not my way of doing things, but there you are.

Re: 19 for wigan
Minikin injured long term according to his missus..need Eden back asap and switch Jy.
Re: 19 for wigan
Damn. Someone mentioned they saw him on crutches. What's the injury Towns? Timeline? If Eden isn't fit Gill will step in.
