There’s no way he grounded it. I’ve watched it and taken stills and he knocks on and it bounces up

we should not even be in a situation to lose by a dodgy try against hull kr very disappointing after gaining two points at warrington . jy being best winger this year and we are getting rid off him we keep talking up minikin who s being shocking this year . starting to think we got warrington on a off day

Looks like gill will be our 3rd winger after Eden and minikin.
A couple of good games in 2/3 seasons isn't enough for me. Seems a nice lad but at can do better and not on the quota.

Things we know now:

Turner looks a good prospect but needs game time maybe a decent stint in the championship. A real good display last week but missed taking the high ball from the kick off which lead to a try. Struggled with goal kicks. Looked ok in attack but not ready yet. We still need a quality fullback to enable him to grow.

We can shock teams with players out of position like QLT but ultimately we were asking young trueman to run an entire team 2 weeks in a row. Especially without macca to take the some of the workload away from him.

Macca wasn't fit and did his own warm up. I don't think he'd have played if it wasn't for the injuries.

If we rested Millo, then a bad choice, injuries are one thing but he'd have taken some of the play away from trueman.

Wouldn't it be great to play the same team twice like saints and wire. We could get real continuity. Hopefully the super 8s will see that.

The annoying thing is, Jesse and mcmeeken were just hitting form, now both could be out a while with there injuries.
Good to see moors back also hitting form.
It’s like we get a player back then we lose another couple. Grrrrr

Minikin is injured. Played throigh it second half hence his performance. No idea while Gill is not playing if Minikin isn't right. That's not his fault really.

there were a couple of players who kept on second half because we had no subs to use

Yes seems like one step forward two steps back. We are still handily placed top 4 with 3 points between us and fifth.

We win our last 6 matches and we should be second place by the time super 8s start. Our destiny is in our hands. We've still only been beaten by the 3 teams above us and they have been injury free just about, I know now Wigan have a few injuries but they still line up with most of their 1 to 17.

the biggest lose for me is Jesse the lad was causing all sorts of problems I have never seen a player with more enthusiasm for the game, I cant understand why an half fit Mc Shane was on the bench when Clarke was available the lad did nothing wrong V Warrington

Hearing Jesse is in a world of pain but it sure what that means muscle = tendon wise.

Any news on other guys?

Bumps and bruises strains and niggles are fine, but did the injuries look like that?

Eden has had a disastrous year injury wise, he really has.

I bet he’ll end up having an operation on his hammy if it goes again.

Eden was on a unicycle after the game so can't be too bad. Hopefully he's back on Friday.

The past few games Jese has been on fire, giving us some great second phase play with his offloads. I was disappointed not to see Clark playing, I would've thought with Millo pulling out it would've been a straight swap.

So against Warrington Cas were world beaters, now they are garbage!!!!!!!!!!

Bad day at the office, yes, but we got a draw! last weekend Hull had an off day and lost - the previous week Warrington had an off day and lost!

We have a string of players out, exacerbated on the day by further injuries, yet, we are still in the Top Four.

!5 more games to play (hopefully!) The big lesson that we learnt last year (which seems to have by-passed many posters on this forum) is that you do not win the grand final in May, June, July, August or even September. Finish in the top four (top two preferably) and its two win to be Super League Grand Final winners!

very frustrating game for me, hkr came with a plan to disrupt us and it worked. it turned into a game that lasted almost 2 hours (not uncommon when on sky with the big screen) into a farce as every time they coughed up the ball one of there players went down injured and the physio came on. it was so obvious it stank. we watched once as atkin went down with no one around him as if he had been shot. the physio was bent over him but doing nothing but look at shaun lunt for instructions and as soon as lunt gave the thumbs up that the defence was set and they had got their breath back the player miraculously got up and carried on. they did it all game but what is particularly galling is that their director of rugby (peacock) spoke out against such practices a couple 0f weeks ago and said they were ruining the game. kettle calling the pan ethnic there Jamie.

There seems to be a move towards American Football. Every stop in play led to a pitch invasion of water boys in blue, on one occasion 4 ran on. The ref stops the clock, everyone stands around for a few minutes, Lunt has a long chat with the ref, then eventually the game restarts. This happened for every goal line drop out. The first half ended at almost 20 past 4.

besides the above feigning injury, the drop outs behind the posts you could have made and drunk a cup of tea by the time they returned the ball, players will always bend the rules to suit our game gets more like football by the day , I wish the Refs would grow a pair
