Hull KR (Home)

Post by MØL » 08 Jun 2018, 22:28

I know we've just finished up with the Warrington game. What a performance. Such passion and determination from the boys. We should be back a few players come Sunday. They'll wanna right a wrong from last week but i said at the start of the week if we beat Warrington i reckon we'll finish the regular season off with all wins. COYF!!!!!

Big game now. Can't win a game like tonight and not back it up with a game we should win.

Wigan are away at Hull fc....

Half 5 next Sunday we could be joint 2nd with Wigan coming up next.

Interesting selection dilemma if some of the missing are fit for Sunday.

None of tonight's deserve leaving out.

Who's fit for next Sunday?

Gale - no
Roberts - no
Eden - probably best to rest him
McShane - out?
Watts - ?
Moors - ?
Turner - ? (someone said he went off due to an injury)
Ellis - ?
Webster - probably not (but what's his injury anyway)
Minikin - played banged up
Milner - surely sin binning was enough and shouldn't get a ban

if our coach as the luxury of picking the lads who played last night no injuries , it would be a shame if any one of them was left out, what a performance

We’ve now got to turn that performance into the same performance next week.
Not 2 games are the same.
HKR is the ideal team to keep more or less the same team.
I hope watts and moors is back next week.

Watts in Maher out, Millo to bench
If Moors is fit you would have to say Clark out but that would be a shame as I’d like to see him get a run now to add some competition.

So maybe something like:

Turner
Gill
Foster
Shenton
Hitchcox
Laulu-Togaga'e
Trueman
Cook
Milner
Millington
McMeeken
Wardle
Sene Lafeo

Massey
Clark
Holmes
Moors?/Maher/Ellis? - might not be a bad game for Maher to play in if nobody else is back.

So pretty much same as last night then. Needed win next Sunday, we can't go to Warrington and get what was pretty much a bonus 2 points and lose to KR come Sunday. COYF

Macca grade 1 calf tear
Eden hamstring tweak. Precaution. No tear.
Moors still concussion protocol.
Watts calf injury not sure. 50/50?
Turner calf. Scan this week. Bet he wont play.
Ellis and Webbo no idea. Gut says Ellis will play but not Webbo.

Is McShane def grade 1? Heard grade 1 or 2. So no to Macca then.
Eden - shouldn't risk him on Sunday in my opinion shows how valuable he is when he played against KR away and we need him for the back end of the season.
Moors should play then so straight in for Maher.
Watts - seems like a no then, as with Turner.
Ellis perhaps will play and looks like a no to Webster (what's Webster injury anyway? Knee?)

So we'd have a few changes from last night then using that as a guide.

Laulu-Togaga'e
Gill
Foster
Shenton
Hitchcox
Ellis
Trueman
Cook
Milner
Millington
McMeeken
Wardle
Sene Lefao

Moors
Holmes
Clark
Massey

Watts should be back so you'd think either Junior or Clark would miss out which would be tough on Mitch after a great debut.

Not hating just its been posted he played injured with calf/back. No need for him to play banged up when there is Gill.

This is a massive game now, we need to keep the momentum up.

1. Laulu-Togaga'e
2. Minikin
3. Webster
4. Shenton
5. Eden
6. Ellis
7. Trueman
8. Cook
9. Milner
10. Massey
11. Wardle
12. McMeeken
13. Foster

14. Holmes
15. Moors
16. Millington
17. Sene-Lefao

Go with a big bench to try and up the pace after 20 mins.

If Fit.....and allowing players not to be rushed back

1. Laulu-Togaga'e
2. Minikin
3. Webster
4. Shenton
5. Hitchcox
6. Ellis
7. Trueman
8. JSL
9. Milner
10. Massey
11. Wardle
12. McMeeken
13. Foster

14. Holmes
15. Moors
16. Millington
17. Cook

If Webbo is not 100% Foster to centre, Oggy to Start and Clark retains his spot.
