Callum Turner/Tonight So Far

Post by Easy Tiger 2 » 08 Jun 2018, 20:33

Wow!!

Personally, dropped ball aside,I think he’s started fabulously and kicked goal well too!!

Forwards have been immense in defence too.

Composure and believe and we could win this!!

Come on boys!!!

hes Having a fantastic game.
Might not have to look for a new fullback.
If only DP had have had the faith to try him 2/3 months ago.

Need to cut out silly penalties, keep doing what we are doing, and who knows.

Jy is a decent player, but I am sorry he is far too often defensively out of position. Turner is really standing out and Trueman is the man of the future!

Not bad so far. Greg Minikin the real disappointment for me so far. Should be contributing more in a game like this. Looks phased, even intimidated, by it all.

Hang in there lads.

Fantastic every single one of you. Get in. Eden and Macca may be a blessing in disguise as it showed the talents of QLT of Turner. QLT to replace Roberts??

Too old. Great game from the lad but at 33....surely just a stand in player for the season. Maybe next.

Yeah, thought the same. Wasn't in the game at all really. Was he still injured? Maybe Gill would've been better if he was.

Jy had a really good game. Both trys he was having to cover position. First Charnley try we were a man down so was always having to shuffle across.

Some players need consistency and there has been a lack of that this year.
A lot of people seem to be digging at Minikin this year but each game he pulls the shirt on he puts a shift in IMO

Think that's what takethetwo meant. For him to replace Roberts this season and next.

Turner did brilliant tonight even with the drop ball but you can tell he has inexperience in defence by sending players the wrong way but that will come he has shown he is definatly there ready.QLT had a dream 1st game and fitted well in the halves to say hes a fullback..MASSIVE WIN and well done to all the boys

Callum Turner for me must start playing. Ready him up for next season and play him.

Ahhh right. Possibly Yeh. Think he now plays half back until Gale returns. Gives us that pace that Ellis doesn't.

Think for Minikin confidence is a big factor for him. Hopefully he'll regain some like last year. Wasn't digging at him just pointing out what I thought watching the game. Maybe he was still slightly injured.
