out classed today looks like we have picked up a few more injuries down to the bare bones, Turner will almost certainly play full back Jake should be back next week its a big ask to turn Saints over even if we had a fully fit squad they will be big favorites for this one, but we have been here before anything can happen in the cup I shall be their cheering the lads on COME ON YE FORD

If we play like we did in the first half today saints will get double what hull got ,and no way would i have turner at full-back against them at least today when shenny went there we looked more solid and he chimed into the line well on a couple of occasions and put players in space

Yes thought Shenton tried to link up from full back 2nd half. Guess we could give him a go again next Sat and play Wardle & Webster as the centre's. But the backline is a bomb site at the minute hardly good prep for St Helens.

It is so disjointed it's untrue..... a shadow of last year's team. What worries me is although it's a different season and we are still in with a great shot of the top 4 finish, we have not yet clicked and put a team to bed good and proper apart from the first 25mins v leeds.....

The ZAKgate as derailed this club from being potentially the team to beat for the next 4 years to now being a team that needs to find its mojo and fast......

It is and anybody who thought the attack was struggling with luke gale in it this season it sank to a even worse level today without him that is for sure

Gadwin went well today; Meeks did too do he'll start. green obviously ahead of Clark. Trueman went off with a head knock so may miss out, plus he wasn't great.

think today puts an end to the debate about playing youth players at the club they are simply not good enough we had no choice to play them this as all come from one off are worse recruitments in between seasons for while. specially for quality back line cover no specialty centre cover at all. in incite you don't think you would probably have all these injury's but surely fetch in centre cover and not cover with one off are twenty second rowers at the club.

If we were outclassed today it’s a sad reflection on Superleague. We had no one available to use for interchanges for most of the second half having started with a hugely patched up squad
Despite that Hull looked out on their feet 20 minutes through the second half and we were very unlucky not to score a couple more tries before they took it away from us.
I’m more inclined to listen to Darryl’s analysis as it’s more in tune with what I saw. It’s on the BBC site and worth a read

Whos fault is it were patched up at full-back after the obvious hardaker for being caught ? Roberts lasted a while before it was realized that was no good trueman will follow him
ludicrous decision not to bring in a full back

This season will be what it will be - it's unlikely that we will repeat anything like last year. I'm very realistic about it.

We were very lucky with injuries last season - getting our fair share this term.

Despite his selfish and idiotic behaviour, ZH is a massive loss and I think that we will miss his influence even more before the end of September.

The way it's panning out now, the top 4 will be:
Saints
Wigan
Wire
Hull or Leeds

Saints will beat us in the cup next weekend

Interesting the top three have largely avoided injuries to their spine. I don’t agree that we are out of top 4. We have already beaten Hull and Leeds and although we may well have a torrid few weeks we will still win plenty of the last 18
