Defo no points in May. In fact probably get nothing until Hull KR games.
Today sounds like a write off at ht. First game I have missed since Catalans away last year. Sounds awful.
However, Leeds are definitely beatable. One of the Saints games wouldn't surprise me either.
Need Millo and Watts to be fit though otherwise the chances drop drastically.

Well that's the first one I got right. Lets see what happens next week. Disheartened this year with some decisions by the club.

It wasn’t awful. We made them sweat in the second half. Read what Powell had to say

No good making them sweat and not put points on the board.
Powell was more disillusioned with the ref first half, ready critised him.
He was pretty up beat about the second half though.
But 36 point let in, our defence must have been soft.

On defence, I am waiting to see Manu’s try to start the scoring again. He ran in seemingly untouched. I’m not sure if this was one that Powell was talking about in terms of running lines. A number of others came from kicks where we just didn’t seem to compete although one seemed to come as a result of our defender being pushed out of the way. Hull certainly targeted Trueman.

A couple of bright spots but lets be honest, for the most part we were [REMOVED]. I fear a fall from grace may be approaching.

With a fair few players out of position defence is inevitably going to suffer

Not on what I saw. Top four will be tough but not impossible as the bodies start to return. We had them on the ropes for a significant bit of the second half. Shenny did look good at full back but I wasn’t surprised. I’ve always thought he would do well there

I agree in the 2nd half we were much better. We had several chances, but lacked the composure to finish them. Also we had 2 tries disallowed for foot in touch and a forward pass. Our defence is a worry with tries scored without us even laying a finger on their try scorer. We also still struggle to defend the high kick, and are obviously even more vulnerable to it now without Zak

The thing is i dont think hull are that good and i agree about hewer but he wasnt the one dropping all the bombs and leaving huge gaps in defence for them to waltz through
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have

Other than Saints I don’t think anyone looks that good and even Saints haven’t always been brilliant against poorer teams like Wakey and Catalans over the last few weeks. We are still months off the business end of the season and we will hit our straps before too long. My biggest worry is fitting in the rearranged games and whilst Wembley would be great, losing in the cup to Saints might prove to be a blessing in disguise

Wonder if the side would feel more confident with Shenny in the backfield?
Must say Trueman look very nervy yesterday, and given the knock he had may not play Saturday anyway. Its crazy to think of the mainstays from 1 to 7 last year, we only had 2 available of those at Hull.

On reflection and after speaking to some who went, hearing Powell, the second half showed promise. Disappointing scoreline but signs are there despite bare bones.

On another note though Tamworth, weren’t the roads fantastic yesterday - I’ve never seen the motorways as clear on a match day, a brilliant trip up and back

Could well be 5 losses on the bounce, as after May we then play Wires away.
