Big news tomorrow
Re: Big news tomorrow
Evalds would be the dream. An actual FB who would add so much value to our team.
It won't be though, as stated, it will be a contract extension for probably Milner (who I think has been average this year).

For me big news is stadium or signing related (especially if it were to be a marquee signing).
The media team still have work to do including not hyping up routine news stories and knowing the difference between "news" and "big news" - the latter to me indicates a "wow" is involved. Resigning an existing player doesn't make the "big news" category.
A guess would be its related to JSL and is being used as an opportunity to push the Tigers TV subscription sign up.....

Re: Big news tomorrow
My hope is it is a new signing or major stadium movement. Then Jesse and/or Milner sign up too in the next month.

Re: Big news tomorrow
League Express says we're being linked with Joel Moon who's OOC, interesting one is that. JSL to Leeds, Moon to Cas maybe?
Does also say Tigers star wanted down under... Milner?

Id be happy with this 1 and yes i would take zak back because at the end of the day he is a cracking full back and look at what he added to our team last year.this year we have lost it in our attack and defence

Apparently he wants to stay at Leeds so that Curtails that, unless Leeds don’t want to re sign him and I can’t see that.Distant tiger. wrote:I heard two weeks ago Joel Moon to Cas to replace Jake Webster.

Re: Big news tomorrow
In simple terms: "Big" = cones required.
Either to cope with parking issues as a result of a heavy journalist & TV crew presence or for traffic control around Xscape to allow the bricks to be delivered....

Re: Big news tomorrow
What are peoples perception of BIG NEWS? Not so long ago, Jessie's new contract, or lack of, was a big talking point. Now, it's not considered big news, same with Adz Milner.
Lets say it is Mead or another Fullback, where does that leave Trueman? 4th choice halfback and 2nd choice fullback. That would only push young Callum Turner further back as well!

Re: Big news tomorrow
Double announcement Milner 3 year deal Jesse 2 years
Re: Big news tomorrow
The big announcement is we’ve got some new cones so when we get the cones out they’re nice n shiney.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.
Re: Big news tomorrow
It is the media team's to 'HYPE' up news, to attract the attention of fans and the external media, especially after a poor result. It's part of the moving on strategy, to turn the attention to the Wakie game and yes to the new Tiger TV and if it helps to sell subscriptions, GOOD.SuffolkTiger wrote:Spot on.TheSheriff wrote:JSL or Milner new contracts isn't big news, that's just news.

Re: Big news tomorrow
your point is play them even if they are not good enough just because they are on the books. Does not make sense if you want to win things . We defiantly need fullback sooner then laterShow 'n' Go wrote:What are peoples perception of BIG NEWS? Not so long ago, Jessie's new contract, or lack of, was a big talking point.
