Greg Eden
Re: Greg Eden
Great work from Cas, but I'm sure he didn't need much persuading that the grass isn't greener again! Just hope we are onto Brisbane to see if they have any other crap players they want rid of he has been brilliant from day one with a much broader skill set than any other winger in Super league. Best years ahead of him here.

Re: Greg Eden
he's been offered a contract but his agent is haggling for more money.fords wrote:Give over, why on earth would he want to do that ?Mucky1978 wrote:Milner now please 5 year deal.
Got a funny feeling Jessie be off to Leeds
He has already said he wants to stay at Cas
leeds and hull waiting in the wings.
personally I hope we don't back down to the agent even though I recognise how popular jesse is.

No doubt he will be,like rest of them. They know hes a fans favourite so are in driving seat. This will be his last big contract so he will want as much as he can get.

Re: Greg Eden
God forbid the poor bloke might have to get a job and work like all those that help pay his wages.
Re: Greg Eden
If it comes down to jesse and money he wants im sure he has his price with watts coming in and our abundance of back rowers we are also in a strong position hes a great guy but we already have players that can take his position imo.
Re: Greg Eden
Fantastic news. The fact Eden followed on from Solomana made it look as if anyone could play out on the left wing and be SL leading try scorer.
The fact is they are both top class wingers that make it LOOK easy and so to secure Eden is great news.
As for JSL - great news if he signs for a reasonable wage, if he or his agent want top dollar, then good luck elsewhere. Seems a lovely bloke but we don't pay the big money for laughs in the changing room and he isn't good enough on the field to command top level pay.

Not at all.most Cas fans know JSL is a quality player and guy. He's just not a Millo or a watts.JIN JER wrote:Looks like someones sharpening the knives in case he leaves.Shameless wrote:Fantastic news. Re: Greg Eden
Just my opinion and yes he's a great guy to have around the club but not worth top dollar. We have, as good and better as back up if he dicides to leave
Re: Greg Eden
Theres two things for it Jesse rightly so will look for the best deal he can possibly get and thats fair enough if that falls withing our budget brilliant. But the fact is he's inbetween posistions and in both we have plenty of players signed up to play on decent length contracts. Just hope if he does leave its amicable in all partys and supporters get its not a huge deal imo.

Thought we’d moved to one thread for these to avoid saturation?callum_walker wrote:On Eden signing a new contract: https://uk.blastingnews.com/sport/2018/ ... 86301.html
All that’s happened is they get posted in two threads rather than one!

The initial complaint was it made several threads on the same article. Here he has posted an article in the current thread without starting a new one.nottinghamtiger wrote:Thought we’d moved to one thread for these to avoid saturation?callum_walker wrote:On Eden signing a new contract: https://uk.blastingnews.com/sport/2018/ ... 86301.html

Re: Greg Eden
Fair do’s just been hard reading some of the knockers he’s had.
Onto Eden, glad he’s extended his deal. Can’t wait to see him back in the side and some of those extreme finishes he pulls out the bag.

Showed what he can do and limped off......again!
Needs to get the hammy sorted before coming back or his 3 years could be money well wasted.
