While I agree that the conclusion is a little sensational for my tastes - I think our recent on field achievements do still overshadow these player off-field issues - I agree with the sentiment of the article.
Unfortunately these off-field problems are getting old really fast, and in my opinion they do have an emotional impact on the club as a whole, both fans and players. Zak and Rangi came with baggage that we all hoped the club could help them overcome. They both went on to have further problems, whether at the club, or shortly after leaving, and in Zak's case, in the run up to arguably the biggest moment in the club's whole history.
This whole Lo "assisting police with their investigation" thing has come out of the blue.
Let's hope it is resolved quickly and what is being investigated is not serious enough to warrant criminal charges or club/rlfc sanctions against the player.

I had to have my say on this issue. I've criticised the club in the past, but I still believe that it was the right decision to sack him. If this was any other player, he would have been shown the door as soon he had failed the test, no player is bigger than the club and the fact that he still showed no remorse for his actions shows how much he values our club. No matter how good he is, he still ruined the end of what could have been a truly memorable season. Yes, he was vital to us getting to the Grand Final, but the fact that he cared more about taking drugs than helping his team shows the club were right to show him the door.

Should Huddersfield have looked for a young British coach rather than another Aussie risk?

So now we have a bit of cash freed up from lo’s Wages, how about bringing in an outand out fullback maybe from championship, if there’s any available.
Or do we stick with what we have got, trueman, turner,Roberts,Shenton.
Thoughts.

Why Castleford's lack of ambition in the pre-season transfer market is biting us on the backside:

Most transfer dealings are done before September. Who was left to sign after the ZH debacle? If we still had a world class full back we would be riding high. Especially with Wardle and Watts coming in. Can’t really knock the club when there was nothing left. I would rather we made no choice then the wrong choice,

I was fortunate enough to be at Cas for the women's game against Wigan on Sunday. It was fantastic to watch and I think that the men's game can learn some vital lessons:

Despite the doom and gloom, I still don't think fans should write us off causing an upset on Saturday:

Keep up the good work and never mind the bully boys who could start an argument in a empty room.
