I put a tenner on Leeds after reading your post LT. Best tenner I've ever spent....

Didn't see it either. Leeds were 4/6 for the win...

It’s a big thing to be winning but yet eveyweek thinking we’re stil not quite at our best let’s hope we can peak at the right time. Lots of disruption so far weather players injury’s and a game where we ended up with a complete diff back line to any other still winning though

I would have taken a 1 point victory at kick off, despite the win there's plenty of work still to do.

Powell's face at the end was a picture. Still, feels good to think the persistent niggling by Leeds through the game came to nothing for them :D

exactly my thoughts.at the minute its about getting the 2 points and we are achieving this without really giving a complete performance.

My worry is that we don't perform for the full 80 minutes. It happened the same against Salford, we went well ahead in the first half then let niggling tactics affect us rather than sticking to our game, and now all other teams will do the same.
I know that injuries caused disruption last night but I don't think that is the whole reason for us not playing well in the second half.
It seems to me that our players lose their heads when such as Ablett and Delaney start their wind up tactics (Gale being a case in point). We have to let our superior rugby do the talking and then laugh in their faces.
Until we learn to keep cool heads I fear more of the same.

Why would Macca be missing Gateman?

Put on report for treading on Golding.

Ref missed Golding stamping on Foster when he scored.

We all know it was an accident.
Even the ref said it was
BUT the men at Red Hall are a different breed.
We'll see.

Couple of things on the video ref , as there been a change where a try sent up as a no try is not overturned unless there is overwelming evidence to say otherwise and in the first half when the video ref was called on to judge on a leeds try that was sent up a try but was a knock on the video ref took ages looking at all angles before he made in the end the right decision sky then showed the super zoom where it was clear as day hed knocked on and if hed looked at that vision he could have made the call one look ...or two

Don't think Macca has any need to worry.

Great first half performance and a lot to work on to get us playing for the full 80 minutes. Credit to both clubs in promoting the game at getting over 23,000 at Elland Road.
