It's been a long week....
.... and we need a good win to blow away some of the negativity and sniping that has crept in since the Saints debacle...
Many of the other SL sides seem to have had a good pre season and look in good shape. Wire and ourselves look to be the 2 most under scrutiny.
I can't make it up for the game - when 5.30pm comes round I hope I'm a bit sulky about missing a cracking win.
Safe trip to everyone heading to the Old Girl.

The season starts today! We have got our hardest away game 0f the season out of the way, Friday the 2nd February 2018 is now a distant memory. Just hope the lads are as fired up as the Cas fans will be. Good win today and we go fifth.

Just hope we respond in the right fashion. I’d love for us to smash Widnes and put to bed last week’s gremlins.
I’m sure they will have a different idea but we need to be intense, aggressive and get into their faces from the off.

Key factors very much lacking last week and in the final.HuddsTigers wrote:Just hope we respond in the right fashion. I’d love for us to smash Widnes and put to bed last week’s gremlins.

Hopefully they have dusted of Sweet Caroline and it's playing loud & proud by full time this afternoon
Re: It's been a long week....
I'm just hoping that last week's shambles was the extra warm up match we didn't have pre-season
I did say that IMO we were short of a real warm up match and I'm hoping that we can now start playing the stuff we all expect.
No excuses from here on in. We need to go out and lay down a marker against Widnes so that other teams fear a thrashing from us, as they did last year.
