Re: todays game
pathetic-no energy from the off.green 8mins wtf-it was mike that cost us both tries.no flair at all and we really look like we will struggle this year.bang average looks unreachable.
Re: todays game
mcmeekin never gets subbed but he does much less work than whoever plays other second row. he hardly ever comes in for a drive and has already cost us 2 tries

Back to basil days by the look of things
Re: todays game
Agree Mcmeeken has been poor and not sure what Green had done wrong to be hauled off after 8 mins!? But this is schoolboy stuff from Cas and looks like the GF/Hardaker hangover is still lingering.dude wrote:mcmeekin never gets subbed but he does much less work than whoever plays other second row. he hardly ever comes in for a drive and has already cost us 2 tries
The only positive is that it’s the same outcome as every year at Sts so nothing lost in that respect but the big negative is the shocking performance.

Re: todays game
In fairness we always lose at saints so no damage done and like a free run-out for the boys.
What have we learned ?
1 Roberts won't be playing FB much longer
2 McMeeken not match fit
3 Trueman not ready yet
4 Gale looks more bothered about his hair than getting involved
To be fair to DP the Zak situation is out of his control, the ref has caned us in the penalties and I'm sure he doesn't coach the team to drop the ball every time they get in the opposition half.
For anyone who feels disheartened leeds lost 66-10 at the beginning of last season and ended up winning the GF.....

Re: todays game
Be an absolute travesty if McMeeken & Roberts play next week.
Absolute embarrassing "effort" from the pair of them.

Re: todays game
Not too worried about Meeks, we've loads of back row options.
FB a massive problem going forward

Re: todays game
It was the lack of effort that was most concerning. Lazy in defence and no one running on to the ball in attack.

I wonder what Zak is doing now.
Round ponte With his hanger on’s, wouldn’t surprise me.
Re: todays game
Priority a fullback attitude change needed and a rethink from 1 to 7 defensive efforts disgusting

Re: todays game
Personally I'd give Clare the FB spot and put Benny back to 6.
I'd also be giving Luke Gale a boot up the arris and make sure that I had 17 fit players in the squad, Millo was a waste of interchanges.
Apart from McShane we were shocking from 1-17

Re: todays game
After that performance we may as well throw in young Turner, at least a proper full back , he may just surprise us and can't do any worse than the efforts we have seen from the likes of Roberts, Eden and Clare in the past.Spanishtiger wrote:Personally I'd give Clare the FB spot and put Benny back to 6.
