Re: Squad for saints
I think tonight I'd go with the following
Roberts
Minikin
Webster
Shenton
Eden
Trueman
Gale
Green
McShane
Sene-Lefao
Holmes
Wardle
Massey
Millington
Moors
Milner
Meeks
The weather will play a factor as it always does this time of year. Meeks isn't really ready for his usual 80min stint but I think he could certainly cause problems with big efforts from the bench. Green deserves a slot on merit.

Re: Squad for saints
Personally I can’t see Milner not starting after how he finished last season. But we will al find out come just before 8 tonight.
Re: Squad for saints
How good does it feel to have rugby league back its seemed an age since our last match, 8 hours to go before KO , i have a feeling its the turn of the Tigers over a thousand tickets sold so a good vocal support , COME ON YE FORD

Re: Squad for saints
Didn't Milner play from the bench at the back end of last season doing a sterling job? Personally I'd go with Massey to start as the extra prop early season in tough conditions and especially against a big pack like Saints.TT Tiger wrote:Personally I can’t see Milner not starting after how he finished last season. Looking forward to the final selection but in all honesty I fear the worst.

Would not disagree with this side. Weather forecast for that area is dry all day. But plenty of road works going on.ERG2012 wrote:I think tonight I'd go with the following

First hit out, wouldn't be the end of the world if we lost. The performance will be a good yardstick mind.
Re: Squad for saints
Think the only game he didn’t start in the last 5 was Hull when half the team didn’t play.Sharlotiger wrote:Didn't Milner play from the bench at the back end of last season doing a sterling job? Managed to get an early finish in at work, so will be on the road before 4pm. Meeting my mate who is a Saints supporter in the Glassroom opposite the Multi-Storey which is only £1 until 11pm. He even gets a ticket for our end and stands with us
