Heard tremendous things about this young fella. 16 and on the bench v Newcastle; the coaching staff must have high hopes.

Any info on him?

Sure he came from down south, may be wrong, but he's away from his parentsmanyway...

Good luck Lewis...we can't wait to see you develop..

Have you seen much of him Gatey?

Within 6 months he’s in the 19!
Hopefully a sign to Lewis that he can make it with us if as I expect Peter Riding is sniffing around and becoming a pest.

Good luck young man

as a back rower he's got 4 of the best to learn from at Cas. Even a half hour warn up with the first team will teach him a lot.

Lewis is a good lad on and off the pitch. Really pleased for him and his family leaving home at 16 is a huge commitment in itself. Lewis is a big lad but he's still raw but he improves with every game he plays.
I believe we've quite a number of 19s ready to play at a higher level which re-inforces the call for a u23s/reserve grade.its good to see lads given an opportunity even if it's just to spend time in or around the first team squad as its all valuable experience for them going forward.
