Must be a Pie fan. My dear old Dad said it was one of the best Wembley finals he's seen,Wigan just pipped a plucky Hunslet side. Believe the Lance Todd trophy was shared by a player on each side.Danny Boy wrote:I think it was Hunslet v Wigan, so maybe a Hunslet supporter?RonnieGibbs'forearm wrote:Anyway, who played at Wembley in 65?wembley65 wrote:Give that man a coconut!daytona wrote:Jesus! I’m not convincedwembley65 wrote:I went to every home and away game last year, apart fro Catalans away. Did you? I'm not a moaner, just a realist. We're a small town club with a crap ground and attendances. We hit a purple patch when lots of the superior clubs like Wigan, Warrington, Saints had poor seasons. I hope I'm wrong, but, I think we'll struggle to make the top 4 in 2018.

Good comedians have got emotional intelligence to gauge their audience.wembley65 wrote:Just having a bit of fun mate. HNY.
Bad comedians display the inability to understand when they're not funny and need to exit the stage.....

If you're talking about a small club with crap attendances in a crap ground who won't make the top 4 you must be a pussycats fan
Apologies JINJ :-"

I beg your pardon. I was mistaken in thinking that Castleford people had a sense of humour. Obviously not.SuffolkTiger wrote:Good comedians have got emotional intelligence to gauge their audience.wembley65 wrote:Just having a bit of fun mate. HNY.

Sense of humour when people are funny.
When its someone that needs a big tube of Canisten its a different story.

Not too sure, I can see some of the teams that finished lower than us last season improving. Then again we've improved our squad IMO. TOP 6 maybe. Double over you lot would be nice.InTheKnow wrote:Wouldn't put it against Wakey making the 4.Spanishtiger wrote:If you're talking about a small club with crap attendances in a crap ground who won't make the top 4 you must be a pussycats fan

think I must have missed those as well.wembley65 wrote:That's going to be a long time to save anything. Our chance to reach the GF was last year. We were very lucky to beat saints, who missed several conversations, and then put in our place by Leeds, the real professionals. We played some really eye catching rugby last year but never gave that 100% professional display. I feel it'll be a while before we get so lucky again.

I beg to differ as the following results tell a different tale:wembley65 wrote:but never gave that 100% professional display
Cas 66 Leeds 10
Cas 53 Saints 10
Cas 54 Wigan 4
Along with many other great displays from 2017.
