We hit a purple patch when lots of the superior clubs like Wigan, Warrington, Saints had poor seasons. I hope I'm wrong, but, I think we'll struggle to make the top 4 in 2018.
Jesus! Tha makes Alftupper look like Hudds tiger with these posts old lad! Are you definitely a cas fan? I’m not convinced
Give that man a coconut!
Anyway, who played at Wembley in 65?
I think it was Hunslet v Wigan, so maybe a Hunslet supporter?
Must be a Pie fan. My dear old Dad said it was one of the best Wembley finals he's seen,Wigan just pipped a plucky Hunslet side. Believe the Lance Todd trophy was shared by a player on each side.

Good comedians have got emotional intelligence to gauge their audience.

Bad comedians display the inability to understand when they're not funny and need to exit the stage.....

If you're talking about a small club with crap attendances in a crap ground who won't make the top 4 you must be a pussycats fan

Apologies JINJ :-"

I beg your pardon. I was mistaken in thinking that Castleford people had a sense of humour. Obviously not.

Not too sure, I can see some of the teams that finished lower than us last season improving. Then again we've improved our squad IMO. TOP 6 maybe. Double over you lot would be nice. :D

We were very lucky to beat saints, who missed several conversations, and then put in our place by Leeds, the real professionals. We played some really eye catching rugby last year but never gave that 100% professional display. I feel it'll be a while before we get so lucky again.
think I must have missed those as well.

I beg to differ as the following results tell a different tale:

Cas 66 Leeds 10
Cas 53 Saints 10
Cas 54 Wigan 4

Along with many other great displays from 2017.
