We've now got moors & millo who can do the fancy stuff, Gadwin, Clark, green who can do the hard stuff. And some youngsters in the mix.

Not just about making hard yards, though that is a props main job.
Needs to be able to respect the ball and not be a penalty machine.
Yes and I'm sure that's attributed both signings have.

we don't want size for size's sake.when he pulls on the jersey i'll back him and the same with clark but I really don't see them ripping up trees.

If you want size gateman look no further than maher.
Sadly he doesn't use it to his best ability.

what about Denis Hartley he was big or even Crooks I saw him yesterday at Lock Lane still a size, its just as easy to pick out lads that have been poor to those that have been good, Size is not every thing but it sure helps

Size isn't everything and it does help if you know how to use it to your advantage. Lots of south sea players in this tournament are massive but would they stand up to the rigours of SL for 30 rounds plus hopefully a cup run.

I thought James had a very good debut V FEATH our coach may have unearthed another diamond, he run the ball in hard and he as a good offload all the tributes to make a very good prop forward , lets hope Benny lives up to our coaches expectations for the full back roll if so we can expect another great year

Green looked very good, also has the ability and confidence to pass the ball. So another ball playing prop, with a good off load, who make the hard yards.
cum on you Ford

And why did he struggle to make the Liegh side?

Apparently he had issues with some of the Leigh coaching staff.
According to a piece in the hull daily mail at the time we signed him.

I'd suggest that he left hkr because they were relegated and had to trim their budget accordingly. Why did Albert Kelly leave at the same time ?

Because Jukes is an idiot?

He dropped Ridyard after the Cas game and farmed him out to other teams despite him being the best half they had. So his team selection is hardly a benchmark to judge a players ability.

We all thought we had a chance with a good burgess or tangatese.
