I would hope that he is relaying info from a credible source and not what he has read on an internet forum.
Caplan seems a level headed guy and often times is a voice of reason on the podcast which is why I reported what he said on here, if Schofield had said it I would have let someone else post about it ;)
just seen the program interesting what was said about new stadiums a small minority off fans being strung along thinking these new stadiums at odsal and wakey was going to happen believing every think these company's was telling them . Think we are in a similar situation with are new ground . Don't think phil caplan is making it up but would be more positive if I new who had told him, hope not some body who's just being reading off here maybe hudds tiger as heard something .
heard from a usually reliable source that the trigger point has been reached but there will still be a slight delay due to some more reserved planning matters. one of the new occupants wants a mezzanine floor in the unit and this has had to go back to planning. it should be a formality but these things take time.

I think has already been done if you look at the recent applications on the planing account portal. I’ve tweeted Phil Caplan and he’s stated the info is from a reliable source. It would make sense if this was true as Philip Lunn stated they were “Very Close” when I emailed him 2 month back . It might be worth someone else dropping him an email to see if you can get any more info ? I’d do it myself but don’t want to appear like a constant nagger :o

Why don't you think its not the clubs news to announce when it's probably the biggest thing in there history they should be shouting from the roof tops if rumours are solid. my opinion they don't want to get egg on there face again with early anouncement. Wounder what robbo makes on the latest rumours

Castleford receive stadium boost

There has been some positive rugby league news surrounding Taken from love rugby league

Castleford Tigers over the last couple of days.

The club have been given the green light to develop their new stadium. Developments on the ground have proven difficult in recent years but things are finally looking up for the Tigers. They have got enough commercial occupancy at their new stadium that they can now start to work on the site.

Because it’s not our project unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the developers.

No one ever said there was going to be a big announcement any time soon . It’s a rumour and that’s all it is for now.
