The Coal Extraction and Mining Activities application to discharge conditions was approved last week.

The timetable stretches from 2017 into 2018 for this. Just looking to see if I can locate details

OK, so cut and fill earthworks were due to commence in 2017 and will end at the end of 2018.

I would suggest that people being ordered off site is purely for the winter conditions until early Spring.

All the other conditions have been discharged. There is only one pending application remaining and that's to alter the petrol station to the green/eco-friendly car garage.

There's no interest from Tesla per se that I know of.

It was cited in the application along with another car manufacturer as examples of the firms they were looking to attract.

I'd be surprised if it saw tesla, they have just opened one in Leeds and are expensive. Though a visible presence from the motorway must be appealing for any car company.

Well I know as much as you but I’m hoping/guessing that it will be that they will do the site roads on the site and they will be closing J32 for 6 hours to connect FTP site roads to the J32 roundabout. May be using slip road to put all the Highway Maintenance trucks on.

On another point, there doesn't seem to be any work going on at the Spittal Hardwick end which is a little concerning? I drive down there regularly at various time of the day as my daughter lives round there and it seems like weeks since I have seen any activity.
Surely they should be getting on with it while weather allows?????
