Loving all these arm chair experts that know better than dp. We had a massive squad last year and truth told some players stagnated so not replacing every one that leaves isn't gonna or needs to happen. I'm sure the quality will come in time so calm ya keyboards and let the people who know what they're doing do exactly that.

Of course they will. But if you have cap space spare and also looking long-term, it's good for succession planning. It's also good to see who can cope with a higher standard/intensity of rugby.

It's good scouting. I'd rather have a coach who takes an interest and knows what he's doing, all about players, and his own research, than doing some of our recruitment like pre-2012

Here here, Cas must be a big pull to players wanting to compete for the top rather than trying not to be relegated.
