Let's look at it this way, who would be a better club.
Maybe Wakefield, not sure.
Just look at points score and it proves who as Been the most entertaining club.

People saying wakey have done it on a shoe string, but so have we.
Most of our signings have been average, Daryl Powell as made them into what we are now.

IMO it as to be cas, but the way minds work in this game, who knows.
If they can give Widnes it in 2014 after wrecking the CC semi final, anything could happen.

I wouldn't agree we've done it on a shoe string, the 2016 accounts although showing a healthy profit, prove we spend to the salary cap and are good at what we do, and still cannot get my head around , "most of our signings are average" we've just finished the top of Super League on 50 points, with average players takes some believing

Wakey could easily do it if Widnes beat us to it the other year.

I said we signed average players last season for this season.
Daryll Powell as made them (this season) into bloody good players.
Turned them from average into something special.
The players are no longer average.

i asked this question a few years ago at a meet the directors meeting, and then it was based on things like community work good practise, facilities not just player and club performance

Facilities and youth development play a large part aswell like has been said. Wouldnt totally surprise me if Wigan got it . Best facilities , brought 2/3 quality youngsters through and won WCC. Be a nice accolade to get but not really fussed about it tbh.

I know I'm biased but I think Trinity could get it, just on the back of the fact that most of the people " in the know" thought we'd finish bottom, well we didn't, we finished above the mighty Wigan, but then again Cas might well have a chance. ;)

Best supported away team

If we don't win club of the year his year we never will.

Wakefield have had a great season too including on and off the pitch a good mate of mine James Stephenson does brilliant work n the community. But wakefields down side is they have poor attendances and the junior set up is a shambles.

True Wakey got 5th on a shoe string. But still finished 18 points behind us. That 9 more wins out of 30 games. Including 3 wins against Wakey.

Would be stunned if we don't get club of the year and also DP doesn't pick up coach of the year.

I certainly wont loss any sleep if we don't get this one, we as fans know what a season we have had we know our youth program is working the club is better run than in all my 60 years as a CAS fan, who wants a cup which most of us will never clap eyes on ??
