I would swap Holmes for McMeeken I think the lad is due for a rest I don't think I can remember him missing a match this season , what a position to be in wondering who to rest when they all can do a great job

In Darrel we trust when you put a squad of 19 out you have got to disappoint 2 as you say I am glad I haven't the job of telling anyone they wont be playing, last year we did not have this problem with our long injurie list, if you could walk you would have been picked in some of the games

My team:

Hardaker
Minikin
Webster
Shenton
Eden
Roberts
Gale
Lynch
McShane
Massey
Holmes
McMeekan
Milner

Moors
JSL
Millington
Cook

That starting pack will do a great job of bashing up the waney pack then unleash the fire around 20 min mark.

To me that the GF team if we make it.

A magnificent bench that genuinely scares teams and causes heads to drop. Love it....

How can you say Holmes is part of the best 17 when he's hardly played? Alex Foster has been a real gem of a find for us and a player I'd have in the 17, given his additional versatility.

we have all got our opinions who we think we would play, as we all look for different things in a players game, when you are as lucky as we are at this stage of the season with such a quantity of quality players fit and raring to go you do not drop them ,the diplomatic way is to say you are rested, over to you Darrel you have an hard job on your hands

His defence is solid and his line running is very good. Foster has played well but I would pick Holmes over him. But that's just my opinion

I'm with you on foster fump. I'm a big fan. he was just used as a tackling machine at first but powell has gradually involved him in more and more of the attacking moves. looking forwards to seeing him improve over the next couple of seasons. great engine on him.
