I reckon a 5metre effort from Andy Lynch would be bloody brilliant!

That's a good top 5 there - particularly number 2 from JSL. :dance:alextigers wrote:My top 5

Gale's try following Hardaker's break from the restart at Warrington. It gave the squad the belief anything was possible this season!

Re: Most memorable try of the season.
Lots of votes for Zak/Luke at Warrington. And quite right too. Ok my vote was Junior/Luke/GM against Leeds which i think was as good a try as can be but most memorable? Yeah, the Warrington try does stick out. As I said earlier, thought the pub might cave in. Great Stuff in'it!

Re: Most memorable try of the season.
Not exactly a try but three tries and a drop goal. The 10 minute spell before half time during the Saints challenge cup match. Almost perfect rugby and the best attacking rugby I have seen in 40 years of watching. The break and kick by Roberts leading to Minikins score was as good as any try all season but even better as part of that 10 minutes of rugby poetry.
A BANANA SHAPED UMBRELLA!!

Re: Most memorable try of the season.
I believe that young Johnny Keats wrote 'A thing of beauty is a joy forever' about Castleford's endeavours this season. Even if Shelley and Byron were Loiners they'd have to agree I think. (hic).
