I hope the celebrations from the fans is lifting the roof to the strains of Sweet Caroline and not baiting the Wakefield fans or being drawn by their fans doing the baiting. Let's enjoy the night, i would hate for fighting to spoil all we have worked so hard for and to get a big fine, which will reduce the prize money thus impacting on player recruitment.

100% agree with this. Thursday, should we win or draw is about Castleford not anyone else. Let the players and fans enjoy the occasion.

We dont want another situation like we had v Widnes in the CC semi final.

both us and Wakefield have a number of louts I would not give them the name of fans, any kind of interaction hopefully there is none if possible should be isolated and let the stewards see to it , things only escalate when other fans try to stop it , IF there is any trouble at all the ones causing it should be given a life time ban, lets hope every one behaves themselves and if we win we can all give our team the ovation they deserve , COME ON YE FORD

Fantastic news but maybe given a couple more weeks. No need to rush them back when we have bigger games to get people fit for. If both fit then fantastic.

I'm in agreement
2 weeks more rest and ready for the "big push" would be a good decision

Just because he's named doesn't mean he'll play ;)

By all accounts Wakefield have loads of tickets left. Maybe the club should ask for them back if they are in high demand

If Wakey don't sell 500 for example. We will probably have 1 pay on the gate open. Monitoring how many come through the turnstile ready to close when we hit capacity.

Probably a bit of mind games here from Chester who says " “We’ve got a big doubt on Woody. He hurt his leg in the second half against Leeds and played the rest of the half – but he’s been in a boot for the week. We’ll assess him in the morning, as we will with Joe Arundel, and take it from there. If they say they’re 100 per cent then they’ll play but if not, we can’t afford to have any passengers." Here:-

Strange that he mentions Kyle Wood has been in a boot all week - I saw him in the Winter Seam on Monday - no protective boot on at all. :-k

Regarding the referee for the game, we need to be mindful that Mr Childs is looking to get the Cup Final awarded to him and this is his last chance to prove himself. Guess he will be looking at everything very closely and he may want to be the star of the show himself and spoil the party. Just play the normal game Tigers and we can enjoy the day.

If he wants the cup final he isn't going to blow his whistle at all. Look at pretty much any final over the last 10 years - refs just let them play.
