LLS watch

Post by InTheKnow » 10 Aug 2017, 20:51

Wakey 14 up Vs Wakey....
If it stays like this and we win tomorrow it's basically ours as Leeds can't match our PD. Then will be confirmed at home Vs Wakey....

Indeed.

I sure hope we get over there in numbers tomorrow now. Knowing a win makes it so we can't get caught due to our PD.

Massive insentive tomorrow, win and next week at home we could be picking the LLS up.
Let's hope we can do it tomorrow and it will be party time next week.

Let's get the win at Salford then it will be celebration time "The Old Girl" next Thursday whether we beat Wakey or not.

Yep. The key win is tomorrow. If we take the LLS at wakey, great! If we lose to Wakey then obviously not ideal, but on the flip side it would make it harder for Saints to steal 4th, especially if they lose tomorrow. Hopefully the LLS will be in the bag after the next 2 games.

Win tomorrow and we are ten points clear with ten points left to play for.
We'd then need to beat Wakefield to get the LLS. If we lose, mathematically Leeds could still catch us so we wouldn't get the trophy?

I think it's going to cause confusion between Cas fans at Salford. Many will think a win seals the LLS. To us it basically does due to our PD but not officially. I will still be partying come 10pm like it is though as deep down we will know nobody can overtake us.

Wakefield have done us a favour, and also Boyd there supporters up they will be thinking after taking the Leeds scalp we will be their next, its looking like a bumper crowd at Weldon road next week, before then we have a little problem in Salford to take care of, this will be no push over COME ON YE FORD

I think there is going to be a lot of confusion here among Cas fans. Win, and Cas go ten points clear with ten to play for. However, we won't be recognised as winning the LLS until it's mathmatically impossible for Leeds to overtake us.

I know it's very very unlikely, so before you shoot me down I know this won't happen but there's a 0.000001% chance we could win tonight, but then lose every game 50-0 while Leeds win every game 50-0, meaning they'd overtake us on points difference (not going to happen I know, but this is why trophies are only presented when it's beyond doubt).

In other words, win tonight and beat Wakefield on Thursday and I believe the trophy will be presented at that match, hopefully in front of the cameras and a full house. It's fantastic to think of though, especially when you think back to all those seasons ago when we lost the battle of Belle Vue, I never ever thought we'd get to this stage.

I wonder if the boys will get a bonus out of that.
We could make a decent signing with that.
Hope it's used wisely.
