Another option, if it's us and another Yorkshire side, is a double header at Elland road.

Totally agree. N if we have to pay a quid or two more to have that experience then so be it.

Happily pay £30 for the game. Extra £10 from every adult would help cover costs.

Doesn't the RFL dictate the sale and the price of the tickets for these matches and the clubs get there usual percentage, Last time I went to one we had to buy the tickets fro the rfl..cvtiger wrote:Stick a fiver on for all I care, been screwed over the years by the RFL happy to give to Cas!Max n paddy wrote:gateman wrote:WELL SAID STEVE GILL, if our team as won the right to play in the club series there is only one venue that should be considered, that is WELDON ROAD, we as supporters who over the years have endured the ups and downs of our club have earned the right to watch this match on home turf , to play it any where else in the UK I WOULD FEEL LET DOWN

Not read all this but what about a temporary stand behind the railway end to increase crowd potential. Surelynwould be a similar cost to renting a different stadium and still means we play at home if it was to happen.
Long live the Tigers!!!

Work with the authorities to add to the capacity, who knows that may add a few. Given our recent spanking form resulting in the frankly appalling attendances, I'd say the regulars will get themselves sorted as we always do, and the part time Charlie's can scramble for the rest.Squaddie86 wrote: And when you can't get a ticket?

in matches like this season ticket holders get the first bite of the cherry, this might encourage people to buy a season ticket, reading posts this season some are debating whether to renew their season tickets with the unpredictable days that matches are being played, lets hope a world club series match will help to sway them to buying one

Those of us with seated season tickets should have first refusal on our regular seats too (as we should for the home semi-final this year).

Agreed. Season ticket holders first refusal (those with seating get their usual seat if wanted) then general sale. It's not difficult. If it's possible to increase capacity for the game brilliant, if not then so be it. There is no argument that could convince me that it is better for us to play a world club game away from Wheldon Road.nottinghamtiger wrote:Absolutely.gateman wrote:in matches like this season ticket holders get the first bite of the cherry, this might encourage people to buy a season ticket, reading posts this season some are debating whether to renew their season tickets with the unpredictable days that matches are being played, lets hope a world club series match will help to sway them to buying one
