If it's the actual WCC and not WCS then it should be down to the RFL to provide a stadium, not either team competing.

Warrington got 12,000 for their fixture last year with premium tickets at £45 and the rest at 20 quid for standing, £35 seating for adults. That's at a decent stadium.

I wouldn't charge any more than our matchday prices and if we want it packed I'd probably cap it at £20 for adults and £10 concessions £5 juniors. Average £11 quid or so. Probably only looking at £120k.

People neglect to factor in costs of hosting the game - floodlights, security, staff, doctors, sponsorship, marketing and promotion etc. It won't come cheap.

I'd love to host it at Cas but for me commercial success, promotion of our club, and making hay while we can rules any sentimentality.

Lifting the LLS at Wheldon Road will be the proudest moment. If we fail in Grand Final glory, the game would be nothing but in reality a glorified friendly probably against not even the second best side in the NRL. Hosting an Aussie team would be nice but let's make cash and memories.

If it's a glorified friendly (ie not the WCC) then the club might be tempted to hold the game at WR.

I think the thing everyone is forgetting there will be neutrals wanting to watch the game so if its held at WR and some loyal fans cant get tickets, that would be even more of a kick in the teeth than going out of town.

If it was my choice, If its the WCC, host it at Barnsley or KC.

If its the WCS, host it at the Keepmoat or WR (but prioritize tickets for Cas fans somehow)

Why have it at the KC I'd rather have it at valley parade

ST holders get first dibs on tickets, easy way to sort that out. Then put tickets on general sale from the club shop (and online) then whatever left if anything is pay on the gate.

How about putting a marquee and stuff on the training pitch? You could even put a concourse into the ground. It's a one off so push the boat out.

Cas all the way for me forget double header forget other fans let's just get the ground filled to brim with our own fans. As has been said season ticket holders first shout then club to sell them then on general sale keep all the income to our sens we have yet to sell our ground out this year and last nights crowd imo even though it was a Thursday night was pretty poor with the season we have had I was hoping we could push at least 8k to show the lads how much we appreciate the season we have had. Simple think is for me make an event of it get some stuff going on before on training pitch before hand get as much different ways of revenue we can generate under our own steam get rugby am there holding it and then we aren't paying another stadium x amount of pounds to use there ground losing all bar revenue money that we would have got ect.
If you sell 3500 pints at £3.50 a pint your talking £12.250 and I'm confident the people of cas will double that intake at least

WELL SAID STEVE GILL, if our team as won the right to play in the club series there is only one venue that should be considered, that is WELDON ROAD, we as supporters who over the years have endured the ups and downs of our club have earned the right to watch this match on home turf , to play it any where else in the UK I WOULD FEEL LET DOWN

Another option, if it's us and another Yorkshire side, is a double header at Elland road.

Rightly so too, it's our home. I can't believe wanting to play anywhere else.

Totally agree. N if we have to pay a quid or two more to have that experience then so be it.
