Think last time it was sent up as contact with the ref but the review panel saw it as no charge . Maybe wrong though.

Why would Gale be mouthing off when we have just won the game? If it's true it's another example of a weak spot in his game. He needs to keep clear of the Refs even when they were as bad as Betham was yesterday.

My view on the penalty try is Zak had every right to play at the ball to prevent a try. If he gets it wrong it may well end up as contact with the head and a straight red. It's a high risk play but one a FB must be allowed to go for. As it was no contact was made so it shouldn't have been a penalty. You can't penalise for intent when there was no intent at foul play - he went for the ball. Like I say as a play I don't like - the risk of a Red and a 4-5 game ban is too high but he got it right on that occasion and should have been applauded not penalised.

Penalty for intent maybe, but no way was it a penalty try.
Zak simply ran accross the try line trying to stop a try.

Penalty try is complete bollo*

Didn't we get one against hudds? Or is that the Webster one?

Just watched the replay of the MM sin binning and Greg Bird is an absolutely disgrace. Not only does he throw himself to the floor like a footballer, he then screams at the ref like a petulant Ronaldo for "10, 10". For a supposed tough aussie, he acted like a proper soft git in this instance.

Agree, but Bird seemed to be involved in any niggles during the game.
Acton suspension was correct, and should never happen, but what had Bird contributed for Acton to act that way, Bird was injured, but his injury cleared so as to play in the next game.

I had absolutely no idea that Luke Gale had been sin binned until this morning, for dissent / petulance, whatever you want to call it. I have noticed that over the course of the season, that he appears and I stress the word ''appears'' to be becoming increasingly more petulant and dissentful. He has up to now got away with it as he also has when he appeared to touch the ref on a couple of occasions.

Luke of course is massively instrumental to us and we need him on the field for the full whack in the play offs etc. A sin binning or a ban at the very wrong time, could be disasterous for us. I just hope DP has a quite word with him, to put a lid on it.
