Re: Catalans away
Long shot but I may have a spare seat from Lloret (Hotel Samba) to Perpignan on Saturday as well as a ticket to the game if there's anybody after one?

No point in having Trueman on bench.
No point in Holmes as we need the big men for this one.
Re: Catalans away
Woudnt be surprised to see Truman on the wing
Re: Catalans away
I would when we have Joel, Minikin and Jy in the squad. Joel and Jy going well at moment too.Dez wrote:Woudnt be surprised to see Truman on the wing

Re: Catalans away
Webster a big miss against their big lads. Defence on our right edge always better with Jake.
Re: Catalans away
I would go with Hitchcox over Joel, credit due Joel took his two try's well, but Hitchcox looks faster and is more enthusiastic in is work ethic no doubt he would have finished both those try's
Re: Catalans away
Both will play with Webster and Eden out.gateman wrote:I would go with Hitchcox over Joel, credit due Joel took his two try's well, but Hitchcox looks faster and is more enthusiastic in is work ethic no doubt he would have finished both those try's
Both on wings with Shenton and Minikin centres.

Re: Catalans away
Not sure what their squad looks like but Shenny & GM in the centres looks very light weight against their big lumpy lads. Hope I'm wrong....InTheKnow wrote:Both will play with Webster and Eden out.gateman wrote:I would go with Hitchcox over Joel, credit due Joel took his two try's well, but Hitchcox looks faster and is more enthusiastic in is work ethic no doubt he would have finished both those try's

The strength of that squad in a what is a dead game for them surprises me. Their league position says different but I think anything less than a big performance from us means we could struggle against them in the heat...
Re: Catalans away
Id be quite happy for both us and Leeds to loose this weekend. Maintains the 8pt gap and 1 less game to playSuffolkTiger wrote:Ouch!HuddsTigers wrote:Their backline will be

Re: Catalans away
Team going Friday, staying in hotel over-night, flying back after game.
Team don't fly until Saturday morning and come back after the game.
I'm flying early Friday return Sunday evening staying in Perpignan
I am sorry Brayton Tiger to inform you , that you are wrong. They are going on a 60 seater chartered flight, Friday, along with under 19s, if they went on Saturday, it would have had to have been on a scheduled flight of which wasn't possible. Also the RL are paying for their flight and hotel, which is the norm for teams playing Catalans. Last year when they travelled the same day was in the super 8s, as it was too late to charter a flight, and had to go on a scheduled flight.
Well the plans must have changed since yesterday's training then. If so I stand corrected but trust me I would know.
I know I got it wrong about travel, just mis- heard , it's the 19s who are staying out there, don't know if it's a tournament they are playing in, but playing Toulouse and someone else , perhaps you may know Brayton or someone else does.

but as you say its a dead game for them. can mcbanana get them motivated. we need a good start and quick points on the board and I think their heads will go down.SuffolkTiger wrote:Ouch!HuddsTigers wrote:Their backline will be

Re: Catalans away
I am surprised they have not rested anyone for the play offs , but Catalan having such an horrible season both home and away their new coach is desperate to chalk a win up , and to do it against the undisputed league leaders the mighty CASTELFORD would be a big feather in his cap, I for one would like a win but for all our players to come home injury free would be a bigger bonus , COME ON YE FORD
