The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
So when's the realistic time we can clam the LS
Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Earliest possible - week 2 of the Super 8s - providing that we win all three games, and Leeds lose 2/3 games.
More realistic - More like week 3-5 of Super 8s, depending on how well our winning run goes and Leeds' form.

Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
It would be nice to clinch it against Leeds!
Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Could be done after week 1. A Leeds loss and Cas win clinches the LLS with 6 games to spare. It wouldn't be official but we would be 12 points clear with 6 to play and a far superior PD.
Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Let's just beat Leeds at home in round 1 to put it to bed!!!InTheKnow wrote:Could be done after week 1. A Leeds loss and Cas win clinches the LLS with 6 games to spare. It wouldn't be official but we would be 12 points clear with 6 to play and a far superior PD.
Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Would be great if we played them but I doubt we will.

Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Can't officially win it until week 2 earliest obviously even with those results.
Having a superior points difference means it's effectively in the bag though

One of the losing cup semi finalists the first fixture of the super 8s after the semis.
One of the cup finalists the week before the cup final.
The other cup finalists the week after the cup final.
Saints before Ben Barba is available.

Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
And of the 4 semi finalists, we get none before our street the semis or final. You could gather as much and that leeds would only play non super league teams and at home up to the semis.

My thinking also.Jungle wrote:It would be nice to clinch it against Leeds!
But against wakey to get it awarded to us.
Makes up for them sending us down.
Now that would be icing and cherry on the cake.

whichever game it is I hope the opposition vans give us the applause we deserve. I think most would.

Neither the Wigan or Leeds fans will still be present.InTheKnow wrote:I don't think Wigan would at all.lurcher wrote:whichever game it is I hope the opposition vans give us the applause we deserve. I think most would.
Spreading the Cas gene pool
Re: The run-in, permutations and possibilities
Can now only win the league officially vs Wakey if Wakey beat Leeds and we beat both Salford and Wakey.
Looking more likely to be Huddersfield away unless Wakey can do us a favour Thursday night.

Think we just need to concentrate on getting 2 wins from next 3.InTheKnow wrote:Can now only win the league officially vs Wakey if Wakey beat Leeds and we beat both Salford and Wakey.

Squeaky bum time if we don't and leeds win next 2
