Draw for Semis

Post by InTheKnow » 17 Jun 2017, 07:39

I know we have to win first but is the draw for the semis straight after tomorrow's game? If we win, will Hull put it on the tannoy or keep it on the big screen??

Won't really have time to talk about it after the result so IF we were to win who would we want??

Salford are solid and can be hot and cold
Leeds look strong again and pushed us closest they have for a long while
Wire/Wigan Wigan getting bodies back so could be tough at end of July... Wire not looking great but seem to do well in CC.

What you reckon?

Like I said...if we win...but we won't have time to chat about this after tomorrow's game.

I don't think there'll be any easy semi finals- Salford are great this year, Leeds are looking more like their old selves, and Wigan(I cant see Wire winning) will have most of their bodies back by July - and Wane seems to really have it in for Cas so they'll be motivated.

I think I'd want a Semi Final against Wigan in a Yorkshire ground, then a final against Leeds.

Main thing is I'd like our semi to be in Yorkshire though - give us some kind of "home" advantage (unless it's against Leeds).

Not to fused who we get tbh.
Leeds are the weaker of the 3.
Salford are a bit wobbly, a full strength Wakefield team would have given them a closer game.
Wigan with players back could be the stronger.
In all honesty if you asked the other 3 who they DIDN'T want, I bet your life they would say cas.

Might as well do it the hard way and play Salford away. We've had the two hardest draws so far. Victory against Leeds or Wigan in the final would make it sweeter. I think whoever wins tomorrow in us and Hull will lift the cup.

Get through tomorrow and, for the first time in my lifetime, we will be the team others fear in the last four

If we can get through tomorrow either Salford or Wigan/Warrington for me, purely for the reason that I'd love us to play Leeds at Wembley again

If we win I doubt Hull will be bothered about showing it or even tannoying!!

Am sure people will have family/friends which could relay it live over the phone.
It'll be live on Twitter.
Word soon gets around.

That's what I was thinking if we were to win. Sit in the stand and get it on BBC iplayer.

For some reason I struggled in the stadium to get an internet signal when we played them a few weeks ago. As soon as I got out of the ground it was perfect again

Give us Wigan if we beat Hull. They made far too many mistakes today and we are far better than them this Year even with all their so called stars.

Agree. Both teams were full of mistakes.
Let's get tomorrow out of the way first, then we can start planning.

If Cas can beat Hull plus the REF tommorow then I don't fear any teams left. Would prefer Wigan in semis and Leeds to beat Salford for a Cas Leeds finel . REVENGE IS SO SWEET

One match at a time, don't count your chickens and all that, but think we'll do em. COYF.
